got a call from someone named Victor James( investigator) saying that a file was on his desk and that he needed to speak with someone today...thank goodness for Google search cause it appears he calls a lot

people with the same
vague message

A guy named Victor James left message with a case #. Said I had till end of day to call back or the file would be submitted? ??? Is he for real? I am behind on a couple bills but an investigator,  is this for real?!

did you figure anything out? I just got called twice by this guy...

Real process servers do NOT call first.  Did you receive anything IN WRITING that was MAILED to you including the company name & address, original creditor name & address, amounts due, dates, etc.?  If not - demand that and see what excuses are given (and making threats is also illegal).

I received a phone call from 714-276-9595 that sounds like a fax machine. When I return the call that is. Someone named Victor James called me and gave me a case number and told me to call 866-751-1134. He claims to be with SPA investigations.  I'm going to call the police tomorrow and report this. I suggest everyone do the same.

Whatever happened? Anything? My phone didn't load the message for three days. Since I don't have any time to cause trouble between work, classes, my commute, which is five hours a day and my son, I know this is a scam.

Yep just got a call from investigator Victor the fraud!  Apparently he's still at it in 2017

Individual said his name was James and tat he was an investigator and had a file number.  He said he was trying to get in touch with anyone in the **** family.

Long history of abusive practices on 800notes.  Claim to be "investigators ".  Sometimes claim to be PIs.  They are located in California but I don't know if any of their "agents" are licensed California PIs.  Ignore and block any calls from this group.  They appear to engage in vehicle repossession as well as debt collection and skip tracing.  Long history of abusive practices on 800n
