Received a strange letter in the mail today 10/9/12.  
Awarding 2 round trip airline tickets valued at $1298.00
Hand written address on the envelope, post marked from Phoenix, AZ.
"US Airlines" on the letter head. Hand signed by "Margaret Fultz."
1-866-754-0979.   Code at the bottom of the letter: NK-77567

This is clearly a scam and is posted on the Better Business Bureau website:

The only question I have is: How did they get my name and address?!?

Got same letter, identical to above.  Note no return address, horribly cheesy attempt at US Air letterhead, not even close
