Medical Debt Collectors

They not debt collectors...they've been calling me, on and off, for several years and I don't owe a thing.

Called to a cell phone and claimed to be offering a 50% reduction on our AT&T/DIRECTV bill. (RED FLAG)
The caller already knew our name, phone number, address and almost immediately asked for our account security code for verification. (RED FLAG)
I was put on hold for verification, and that’s when I looked up on my tablet “DIRECTV bill reduction” and found a mountain of reports that it is a scam. (RED FLAG)
When I raised the possibility of this call being fraud, the female voice replied with a canned speech denying this call is fraudulent and that the offer is 100% valid. When I read a couple of a scam claims, it gave me a really strange off-the-wall answer. That’s when I realized it was a computer voice and was surprised at how real it sounded. (RED FLAG)
It got really quiet on the line for a few seconds, and then an asked me if I was still there? I responded by saying I think this is a fraud call again, and it gave me the same canned answer as before in the same words and with the same voice inflections. (RED FLAG)
After that I was sure it was a computer controlled Roboscammer, I decided to read more fraud claims off the Internet to find out what it would do. After that it just stopped responding and eventually hung up the phone.
