i received a call from this number 8667604327 and they told me as well that i had a bad check with a credit union form seven years ago, the person i spoke with was Veronica Davis. She has yet to return my call Her extention is 104. apparently they once were a part of brinkman alliance now their claiming to be with Taier Processing  

Same company, Brinkman Alliance Group, called my husband today saying he had a bad check debt from ten years ago for $500 to a Quick Cash location.  For us, it was a possibility that that DID actually happen, as he was a heavy drinker back then and had some bad debt of that kind at one time.  We called our County DA for clarification and discovered that there were no warrants, etc.  Our concern is all the personal information they were able to repeat to him... his Social Security number and everything.  Scary stuff. Reporting as we can... what with the Government Shutdown this week, making it a little hard, but starting with the DA.

I also got a call from  someone wanting to serve me papers and said they where pressing criminal charges and gave me the phone number 866-760-4327 and case number when I called they also said they were Brinkmen Alliance Group and told me if I did not pay with inn 24 hours they would proceed with the court filing. they said they only accept electronic payment which is weird because any company acting in good faith will accept money orders. They instill fear in to people and threaten them and harass them to pay. I asked for an email with information about the company and they sent me something from a gmail account. No legit company send emails from a gmail account. Could not find them anywhere online except here.  These people are call "zombie debt collectors" they try and collect debts that are way past the statue of limitations and do it unlawfully. BEWARE OF THESE PEOPLE.

Just spoke to a lawyer and he said A) ignore the calls or B) let them know you have contacted the FBI.  They are frauds.

Received a call today from "0" on my phone who's description matched many of the descriptions above.  I Google'd the number that he left me to call and of course this page came up.  The name given was Kyle Foster, who told me he had received paperwork on two cases against me and that unless I got in contact with the his client at 866-760-4327, he would be out to serve me papers today and to have my ID available for service.
I did some further digging and located the address that the business is registered to -  233 Westminster Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14215.   I mapped it out and it's actually a residential area in Buffalo. During my searches I found out that they had three complaints against them regarding some of the same things that are mentioned here.  In all three cases, the BBB got *no* response back from the 'company' on the complaints.  

Same thing happened to me today - I have no outstanding debt. I called and left a message telling them that they may not call me anymore and that I was reporting them for telling me I had committed a crime. I have not committed any crimes and will report them. They also told me they were coming to my house to serve me papers for two charges. I went to the Federal Trade Commission website and the National Do Not Call List and both are not working due to the government shut-down! This world has gone mad. Thanks to the internet, I at lease was able to find this information to confirm my suspicions. Thanks to all. Do not talk with these people - they are a scam!

I was listening to messages and received one from this number. I could not understand the company name but the caller identified herself has Cindy Scott and said that there were two complaints filed against me and when I called back I was told to leave a message. Freaked me out and then I put in the number online and I saw that this is a scam.

Same thing happen to me, but I just noticed  that it just happen to you recently because you made a comment about the government shut down. It just happen to me today.. I really hope no one falls for this stuff especially because they bring up real past account information.

Please be careful these people even have information on reference names you may have used in the past. Take a moment to think don't react to fast. You may end up giving information they want. I was called on an account I had payed about 4 years ago and they had information on one of my reference. I got so stress just to think they wanted me to pay and I know I no longer owe that account. But they scare you by telling you they are taking you to court. Or to prove to them you payed, and asking you to send them bank account info. To prove you payed. Thank god I google the number and found out it is a fraud. Do alot of investigation but most of all do not realease any of your personal information.

Please do file reports with the FBI, your state attorney general and Department Of Justice,FTC & FCC..

This scam is alive and well.  I was called today, Shaun Page 866-760-4327 - I called back, by the voice I got the same person, diffrent name.  

This company keeps calling my mom's house. When I call and ask for the lady Ms. Smith they said hang on and hung up on me. I called back and I was on speaker and a bunch of people were talking and laughing I said hello and they hung up.

I just paid about 233.00 to this company-been trying to have them send me documentation of my debt but no response...they had my social security number-name address etc n threatened me by telling me they are sending the sheriff to my Job to issue me court papers. Don't know if this company is legit or not but I am goin to call the FDC n fraud line or something to see if they are legit or not.

Same as everyone else. Chick calls from an unavailable number then asks if I'm going to be home within the hour so she can serve me criminal court papers. I inquired as to who it was that supposedly is charging me and what county is the court. She said Brinkman Alliance Group. When I tried to inquire further she said I caan give you the number and case number so I said go head and she then did and promptly hung up on me. I called this compamy amd a lady gets on and asks of I can verifyy last four of my social and I said I won't verifu anything bit that she is spealing to me she then says well ma'am how can I lnow whom I'm speaking to if you won't verify and how many people they get calling saying they are someone else
So I said amd do you knpw how many scam people call asking for your personal information? I said you can either tell me how can I help you or goodbye she yhen gets an attitude and at that point I hung up. This is an illegal practice and from the dates I can see they have been very busy. Don't waste your time calling them or falling for theor tactics which are illegal. I don't know anyone's that is a court processor that calls and asks if you are going to be home so they can come serve you. Yeah like I would ever be home lol.

I received the exact call as everyone else but from a Sharon Page.  Mine is supposedly from 2004, 9 years ago?? She knew all my info, current job, address, and references.  She said I would have to pay for the loan, up to $7000 in court costs and could serve up to 90 days in jail depends what the judge says about the check.  I asked why was this not on my credit report if true?  She stated you would be taken to court first then it goes on your credit.  None of this made sense to me.  When you have never been in trouble in your life, you are not thinking clearly. She scared the crap out of me... when I called my brother terrified, he looked into it and had me look here.  I still am watching the door... it has not been 24 hours yet.  This is harrasement! Had an anxiety attack.. I have never had to go to court or use a lawyer... do not have the money for all that now.   Seriously crappy!

Yeah I got the same exact clls. They called first about a month ago and said please be home and have state id when we come serve you papers. I ignored and went on with my life. They called both home and cell phone today. Gave me the 1-866-760-4327 number and then my so-called case number. When they first answered I was on speaker and could hear the chatter in the background. They knew me instantly and put me on hold. Then it went to voice mail. The number omes back as Dessaules Law Group but that is not who his number goes too....I should never have called back but let them know I know this is a scam and reporting them today to law enforcement and FTC...

I just posted a little bit ago about this company and their harassing calls. Her name is Veronica Davis and she is a thief.  I have contacted the FTC fraud department which is really easy to file a complaint on their website. Then I went to the BBB and they are accredited with the BBB and have a rating of F for business practice. I filed a complaint with then also which was vry easy. Stand up for your rights..no one who is gonna serve you papers is gonna call a mont first. And no matter when I call Ms. Davis always answers. File your complaint and don't give them money. You will loose..check it out...sooo a scam!

Received a call about an hour ago from Taylor Jones regarding being served papers for a complaint that has been filed under my SSN. I called back and didn't get an answer.

I got a call from a Marie Martin and she said she was from the liasion office that was going to serve papers on me at my home or my place of employment unless I called 866 760 4327.  So I called the number and could not understand the name of the business.  The may told me I owed for 2 pay day loans from back in 7/2008 which I know I paid off to another collections agency.  I told him I paid them off and he told me to fax the information to him.  Of couse the place I paid the money too the phone number is now disconnected.  So I have no proof except payments from a pre-paid debit card I used with the amounts and the name of the now  out of business agency.  He scared me but I am not going to call him back or send them anything.  Is that the right thing to do?
