- Shari| 1 replyThey LM on my cell saying they wanted to confirm my card number because of a possible fraud transaction. Instead of calling the number they left, I called the number on the back of my card. My card company confirmed that they did not place the call to me, and this is a scam. BEWARE!!
- willowThe last three days I am getting constant calls about ADT fraudlant use on my sons card. I looked up the number on the internet and came up with these comments. I am reading that it is a scam and my suggestion is not to give out any information and call the number on the back of your card to verify if they are trying to contact you or is it a scam.
- Caller: ADT Visa ???
- ETThis number called me 9 times in one day without leaving a message so I looked it up online. Glad I did!
- AndrewYep, scam, called 6 times in one day said something about fraudulent charges on a credit card that's no longer active and tried to get my social security number
- juls| 1 replyI got a call from this number about 2 minutes after ordering an online magazine. It was an automated call asking me if I had made three $3 purchases in the last hour. They didn't ask me any personal questions and actually when I got to a live person, they would not discuss the issue with me as it is my wifes paycard, and I am not on the account. In this case I would say this is NOT a scam call, they were just doing their job, and doing it well since it was all about $9 in charges. I hope this is helpful to someone out there.

- Jena replies to ShariI called the number on the back of my card as well, but the lady said there was a fraud block and to call the number I thought was a scam, she read it out for me and I repeated it back. I call the number and wait for the stupid Bahamas cruise thing to shut up and I STILL DID NOT GET DIRECTED ANYWHERE ELSE. So the fact the card company told me to call that number and that it wasn't what they said I'd be connected to really annoys me. I am rather confused because they directed me there?
- LucyThis number has called me three times today. The message said for me to have my card number handy. If someone was in fact using my card and this company was tracing this then I should not have to give them my information again. Also, if they are trying to contact me then why isn't anyone on the line when I answer. SCAM!!! I don't buy this for a minute.
- Irate| 1 replyThese fools keep calling me and left voice mail about fraudulent Visa card use. If it was a from a real bank with a real account, dont you think they would say "this is such and such bank"? walks like a duck... quacks like a duck ...
- It was a call from ADPThis was legit. One of my employers pays using an ADP card and this was in reference to many transactions on my card within a 24 hour period. (All mine) I didnt hear anything about a cruise or any other offers. I gave them my phone number that is linked to my account and never said my visa card number.

- IDontPickUpThis number is not a scam, it is a legit call. It's the ADP automated fraud detection robocaller. As soon as I made a purchase online with my ADP card, within seconds this number called me on the phone number registered to my ADP account. The robocaller has you punch in your last four of SSN to verify the purchase. My purchase probably triggered the fraud detection robocaller because I had used a different surname on my purchase. I had used my married surname while my ADP card still has my maiden name on it. Came up on my caller ID as "800 Service) but when the robocaller answers he announces himself as the ADP Fraud Detection service.
- Caller: ADP Fraud Detection
- Call type: Event reminder
- IDontPickUp| 1 replyI'm sorry, a correction to my last post. The robocaller does not introduce himself as the ADP Fraud Detection service, he introduces himself as Visa fraud detection or something like that. I don't think it mentions anything about specifically being ADP, but this was triggered by my ADP Visa card.

- Sir Bedevere replies to IDontPickUpJust so you know – your call may have been legit, but several others from this number clearly weren't. This is because it's easy to spoof the Caller ID these days and crooks will spoof their calls to appear on your phone's Caller ID as this number (or any other number).
Best course of action is to not give them any information (not even the last 4 digits of your SSN), just hang up and call the number on the back of your card. Better safe than sorry. - Jeff E.My message came up as ADP Fraud Detection servers by Visa, after a few quick and simple questions regarding an account number that they left for me in my voice mail. After the questions I talked with Loren who works with ADP and went over my purchases that of the last 24 hours.
It was funny when they asked about a 3.02 purchase and I laughed and told them I picked up an energy drink before work. We both laughed and she asked if I had any questions and that was the end of the phonecall.
Everything is Legit, and I have yet to have any calls about my card since this happened.- Caller: ADP / Visa
- Grateful CustomerI received a call from this number today, from Visa Fraud Prevention Services. They left me a Case ID# to use when I called back. I called, and it said they wanted to verify charges made on my card number ending in **** and to enter the Case ID# and the last four of my social security. Well, I immediately hung up and called the number on the back of my ADP Visa card. The rep there (Cynthia) asked me if the call came from this number (she read it out to me, I didn't tell her what it was), and she said it was legitimate and that it was okay to give them my info. So I called back and entered the Case ID# and the last four of my SS#. They asked if this was regarding card ending in number ****, and I said yes. A very nice man named Rick got on and said an unusual number of purchases were made on my card yesterday, so they needed to verify them. (I got paid yesterday and did make 8-9 charges). He was able to tell me where they were made and the exact amounts, and I told him they were correct. We even joked because one was at Krispy Kreme, and he said he wished they had one where he was. Overall, it was a short, very pleasant experience, and I appreciate them doing such a fine job, especially as I got caught in the Target hacking fiasco and had to get a new card because of it. This was my first time using the new card, and I'm glad to know they're making such an effort to prevent any fraudulent use of my account. If you have any doubts, call the number on the back of your card first, but this was definitely a legitimate (and very welcome) call on my part. It's nice to know someone is looking out for me!

- LegitVisa Fraud Prevention Services confirming a recent charge to my card. They provide a CASE # in the message so you don't have to enter your card info when you call them back. I verified the charge and they lifted the flag on it. I was happy to see this kind of protection being enforced.

- GeorgeOk so I got one call from this # today and it did strike me as odd. The ONLY reason I was comfortable calling back is bc the card was brand new and because of my new job's pay cycle, my first check was only for an hour of orientation. I used the reference # left in my voicemail and then refused to input my last four of SSN, just waited instead. It sent directly to a live person who identified himself as Visa Fraud Protection. I was a little shaken since the card was brand new and had less than 50 bucks on it but they DID NOT ask me for any complete info... Last four of SSN and zip.. Then he gave me my house # and asked me to confirm the street name. Asked me about three purchases totaling $25 and said they just wanted to make sure it was me. All in all seems pretty legit, impressive even. My full pay goes directly to this card so, makes me feel good someone is looking out.
