My husband did in fact sign up for Ashley Madison (but not for the reason that you might think), and he didn't even use the service and was charged. It was on his Visa statement as 'AMDA 866-790-6550' for $22.59/month. Apparently they won't let him cancel it. I called the number, and a man picked up. He told me he had to speak with my hubby directly. Husband is probably going to cancel his Visa and get a new one.

Im sorry but youre not. $168.99 is the fee for 500 credits on the service. I can assure all of you...AMDB bills for absolutely no one but Ashley Madison. They are not a "payment processor"

You people are hilarious. It's from Ashley Madison. All of these women just have husbands that are dumb enough not to have a credit card in just their name that only comes in statement via email. That's how you get it done.

At least I'm courteous enough to do that to my wife. She cheated on me four times before I finally for the sake of not wanting to be without my kids (she'd get them in custody obviously) went on there and found one very nice woman on the side who I've quietly been with for two years. I have no idea what my wife does and don't care. Only care about the kids. When they're 18, it's Splitsville. Haha.

Not to downplay what is a serious matter in a marriage or relationship,  but how much fun can guy be having for $168 a year and $19 a month?  And what kind of classy women is hubby going to meet for that kind of money?  That is the part that is sort of scary.

Well in my case it is fraud, pure and simple.  I called on the charges made on my card and the billing address doesn't match up.  I know I didn't make the charges, and since you say women are free, that tells me my wife didn't make the charges, it is fraud.  When I called they even admitted that the charges were fraudulent and are reversing the charges.  Needless to say we are also canceling our cards.......

Yes, once you sign up, you get charged whether you use it or not.  But I really doubt he wasn't using it.

I used to be a member and I was able to cancel.  You just go to the account section and click on delete account.  have him log in with you watching and prove that he can't cancel.  Have him check his inbox/outbox while you're at it.  Then let me know if you still think it was not for the reason I think.

I have no business with that site and just started getting $19.99 recurring charges. I cancelled the card. Notably I searched and found this:  AMDA Billing Services amdabilling.com. Comes on card billing as AMDA. Ladies, be careful! Make sure your husband's a dirt bag before you call him one. Furthermore, most members of that site are men, which is odd, because women are actually more likely to cheat. The thing is, men go out just to get their rocks off, women usually cheat emotionally first, which to me is *much* worse.
