Report all calls from 866-796-1319 to FTC. Keep voicemail messages to send. Contact your phone provider to stop calls that display a spoofed caller ID and/or Name.

Just screened & blocked this #. No message.

Called. I didn't answer as caller ID showed "Scam Likely". An automated message left a VM which included someone else's name and number saying they signed for some paperwork, but never said what it was regarding.

Received call with automated message regarding "documents of an urgent matter". Mentioned someone's name and their number 707.573.9060 but also left the 866.796.1319 number

I did not answer but the message is made by Artificial Intelligence and claims to have important documents for me.
Scam BEWARE!

Said it had documents that the signing period had run out on and I needed to contact them for the next action.  Used a land line phone number I have not had for 15 years.

Received a call from 866-796-1319 in reference to a urgent matter that will be filed with the county clerk's office in relation to a credit card that I never had. Called the County Clerk's Office and they did not have anything on file. These same people have called from other numbers as well. The latest one being 5122365512.

Received call from this number. VM sounded like a pre-recorded message. Said I needed to call about urgent matter regarding documents & referenced my ex-husband's name. We've been divorced for 23 years! Beware - I'm pretty sure this is a scam.

Collection agency that uses online search engines to find possible relatives of debtors. Most  professional company! I called & nicely asked they remove my # that it was incorrect. A week later & I'm still getting calls. Wont let you speak to anyone in charge & extremely rude!

Well, with all that how can you say "Most professional company!"?

Called again today from another number, referencing the same person as before saying the documents were returned. And something about a mutual agreement.... Definitely a scam.

Msg left "Important documentation of an urgent nature has been accepted on behalf of {Name}. Previous attempts to deliver documents at the address on file has expired. In order to resolve this matter in front of further action it is required that you make contact with our office at 1-866-796-1319. Again, that number is 1-866-796-1319 or press two now to be connected with out team"

They have been calling any and all numbers associated with me in any way, including my spouse. They tend to phish, the initial calls claimed it was for an HSBC card, until they were told I never had an HSBC card, the individual's next comment was "well, do you have a capital one card?". Now the calls only reference a Capital One card, so not only are they grasping at straws but I guess they don't communicate between themselves either.

I have additionally received calls that indicate a new return number (866-675-8115) within the same automated recording, so I spoke with them and they identified themselves as Legal Proceedings, but I am fairly certain that they also go by J & J Processing as they were the first "company" who called me claiming the HSBC card until it was picked up by these new numbers.
