- White GoodmanCall is from a company called "Higher Pointe"..higherpointe.com...have received multiple calls from people who barely speak english..they have thick arabic or possibly indian accents.
- Caller: Higher Pointe
- Call type: Unwanted
- ObsidianThis is really hirepoint.com. If you have applied for a job recently that is why they may be calling if not it is just a wrong number.
- In Bremerton, WAYes, this is actually hirepoint.com and they called me in response to my application for TeleTech (an inbound call center). They do have very thick accents and for me it was very difficult to understand them. It was awkward talking to them as the pauses in the conversation and all the "is this correct", "is that correct" was irritating. Very odd. But the phone number and business is legitimate.
- Caller: Hirepoint (for TeleTech)
- LeeAt 78 I'm certainly not looking for a dang job! It's a SCAM, folks. Pure and simple! I don't answer any calls that aren't at least from my area code or that I don't list in my phone book.
- cncguyHavent applied for any jobs so call must be a scam. Asked for me by name without identifying who they were with. Replied "you have wrong number" and hung up. I called back number and got recorded message saying i had reached Higher Point something.
- MouseHave received several calls today from this number. I won't answer the phone if I don't know the number or if they don't leave a message.
- AprilI WAS interested in a job with them but never finished the application online since I found a new job. Now these people won't stop calling me! I can't understand them anyway and don't want any more to do with them!
- AprilPlease stop calling me! I am not interested in working for you! I have a new job!
- Tom| 1 replyCompany is not called Rivana, and they are job recruiters for sales positions. Well, in my book, sales people are the sleaziest people out there along side politicians.
Same "scam", whatever it is (most likely: personal information used for sales, such as name, address, phone), not identity theft.
Since they are a real company, a DNC complaint is feasible.- Caller: Rivana
- Call type: Telemarketer
- JudyNot a scam. Had someone who works for me housesitting and they had a problem with my ATT UVerse system. She called UVerse to report the problem and they called me while I was on vacation to report the issue and then asked me to call my housesitter so I could provide her with authentication info. I called and verified she was experiencing service issues. Every 866 or 800 number is not a scam.
- Caller: Service calling on behalf of AT&T
- jgave a resume to Revana at a jobfair quite a while ago. went to a screening for a job in April, and I was declined. They said I cannot try again for employment there for 90 days. However, their recruiters have called me since then almost every week. It is quite annoying. There is no communication in their recruiting department. Their recruitment calls also seem like sales calls.
- Caller: Revana: calling to recruit to screen for a job
- Web User866-796-5485 called me 8 times within 22 minutes on 03/17/2015, left no messages. Each time they called they got my outgoing voice mail message stating that I do not accept such calls, and unstructing them to place me on their DNC List and Don't call again.
- Jordan replies to TomEverything you buy is sold from a sales person. From your shoes, phone, and even the internet you made this uneducated remark with. I guess ALL sales people can't be bad, as I'm sure you're clothed and were able to complain. I guess you can mark that down in your "book".
- JordanIt's a call from teletech. I applied for a job, but found another, so I just let the lady know I'm no longer interested. Haven't received any more calls since.
- N HansenRecruiter for Rivana who said they had found my resume on the internet and had a job position open.
- Caller: Rivana
- melanieI did apply for a job and it is teletech. So it is a legit call.
- Caller: Teletech
- JanAs I am not a native speaker, I thought, my English so poor, that I do not understand a word, when someone is offering me a job. Now I feel a big relief.Yes, the accent was very strange and I hardly understood a word. I did not even apply for job but they are also searching proactively in job boards. So, in case you are an active job seeker, they may call you.
- SusyI get a call from this number at 19:30. They left a message for me that said I have to call back but I could not understand in what :) but.... I'm living in Europe, Hungary. Do they need people in Europe?
- Caller: I didn't understand...
- Susy*I have to call back in case I'm interested but I could not understand in what
- Alex| 1 replyThis is for a company called Tele Tech, I applied for them back when I was still looking for a job and now they won't stop calling me. They've called me at least twice a day every day leaving the same voicemails over and over, I finally blocked the number.
- Caller: Tele Tech
