This is a debt collector practicing illegally. Its regarding a 2007 debt for my sister which was a mistake. These people have called almost every family member of ours, threatened to serve my sister at work. If you get these calls, file a complaint with the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) and the Attorney General's office.  The more complaints against them, the better. Be aware, they are very aggressive and completely unprofessional.  Save yourself the trouble and just hang up and report them.

Call came in from unknown. Said to call this number back. "Denise Mitchell" claiming to be from some law offices that weren't stated. BS

Very rude and threatens to proceed to court with or with out me..using scare tatics..her name was Denise mitchell

Lawsuit and pretending to be a law firm and stating actions will be taken with or without my present. The
caller name is Amber Wilson

Call from Denise Mitchell threatening to take legal action on a law suit and complaint against me. If she doesn't receive a call back in a timely manner legal procedures will proceed without me. She said the phone call was documented so there's proof of me being notified. To close the call she said "good luck". SCAM she also called my mother.

Same info as stated above.  Also called my wife's cell phone number and  told her that they were coming to my house to serve papers, but wouldn't give any info.  Nobody showed up on the day they said they would.  I wish they would, as I'd love the chance to meet them in court.  Any debt that I have is OVER 20 YEARS OLD!  By fair collection act, hey can't collect on it legally and it can't be on my credit report, UNLESS I make a payment of any amount, voluntarily, even if it's only $1.  PS.  I have perfect credit now with a FICO of over 815!
BUT, they didn't even identify that the call was to collect a debt!

This person "Diane" has been calling every few months asking for my mother and says it's a "legal matter that is Urgent!" She won't give any other details. My father has tried to talk to them and they don't provide HIM details. My mother doesn't speak
or understand English well and wouldn't be able to understand the information provided so I don't see why they couldn't speak to my father. They WASTE our time and prey on vulnerable people. Do NOT answer these calls.

I got this call 2x and the number that she left does not work and she called from a blocked number (so i never answer) speaking so freaking low I can barely understand what she is saying but this is what is transcribed to text

"My name is Lana Davis. I'm calling in reference to a complaint that has been forwarded over to our office if you have any questions or concerns regarding the pending action being filed against you you will need to contact the firm directly handling your file at 866 800740. I'm sorry 307 110 from needs to hear from you immediately otherwise. We will be forced to move forward to make a decision without your consent, please keep in mind my calls are allowed and submitted this proof that any and all outlets for me to contact and notify you of the pending action being filed against you at this time."

This person left a voicemail on my phone (my phone blocks calls from "Private Number"), stating that her name is Rayleen. Same message as everybody else in this thread -- pending legal action blah blah blah, will proceed without your consent, etc etc. She sounds miserable -- she should consider a REAL job :-)
