Yesterday I missed a call from this number. "Out Of Area" was on caller ID.

They never leave a message.

Missed several calls from this number.  Never leaves a message.

I have received many calls from this number.  The caller either hangs up when the answering machine picks up, or in the today's case, I answered and said HELLO! twice and then the caller hung up.  I'm very tired of this!

I finally got someone to answer when I picked up. The girl on the other-end said she was from Abilene Christian college and wanted to talk to my son. I told her to quit calling.  I figure it is a service the college hired and not them direclty..

We are receiving as many as 8 of these calls a day.  It's really filling up my caller ID.  When we answer, they never say anything.  When it goes to the answering machine, they never leave a message.  When I called this # back, a machine answers:  "Hi you've reached the Pharmacon (sp?).  Please leave your number and spell out your first and last name.  We'll return your call as soon as possible.  Thanks and have a great day."  We are already on our State and National Do Not Call lists.

Anyone had any success in fighting this?

btw, no one from abilene christian university would say abilene christian college unless they went there before the 70's, so the person mentioned in the previous post probably isn't associated with the school.

same here, when I called back it definitely said "phone-a-thon"  They call 10 times a day sometimes, and hang up when I answer and say hello.  Very annoying.

I beleive this was from a college.

They've called twice in the past few days. I haven't answered & no messages left.

yea i believe its from a college too. they have called me at least 30 times and never leave a message

I called this number back and got a voice mail saying, "thanks for calling the phone-a-thon.  Sorry we missed your call, if you'll leave a callback #...."

same as all above - we are on do not call list federally and they still call and bother my very ill husband...

It was 7/14 on my cell.  No message.

omg i got tons of calls from this number too...and also from two more numbers which are similar to this one except the last two numbers are either 04 or 02...i am sick of it...whoever they are are not seem to get the hint when i dont pick it up...they called me like 50 times now...i mean what do they want? jeez! and the annoying part is no one answers when you pick it up...ughh i am really sick n tired of these people!
