- AngieI applied for information on government grants on-line and a few days later, received a call from a person at this number claiming to be with Alliance Consulting Group. They told me that I was approved for gov't grants and they would help me do all the paperwork for a fee of $298. They wanted to send me a questionaire package to fill out but couldn't do that unless I paid up front using my bank routing number and acct number. I searched for their company on line and with the better business bureau and couldn't find them at all. I did find lots of info on scams that were along the same lines. Don't believe them if they call you!

- VictorYeah a Guy by the presumed name of Sam Burke wanted all sorts of info and such, But before He'd send out any forms He'd need Me to pay $298 for a Paperwork Fee up front to assist Me in filling the papers out and He said His extension is 290, I mentioned I was looking for a loan from the USRDA and He said no need this is a Grant application. And 504 grants are only available to those 62 and older and I'm not 62 yet, Not even close to that in fact. So I suspected something when He said He'd need $298 up front.... He knows where I bank, But not My checking account or routing numbers or any other info that would help them access that account.

- TerrySame as above. When you click on the on-line link it looks like you are requesting real grant information and help. I would be interested in anyone that has had success from Alliance Consulting. I asked for the lady to back up her statement that they have an X% success rate, and she said to look online. She also got a little snooty that I woukld give her my personal information then and there.

- Dennis| 1 replyI applied online for funding. Got a call from 866-800-2352 almost 1 month ago. Was told that I would get help in getting assistance. I paid the $298 and 2 weeks later got the package they described I would get. I filled it out and sent it back and then got a phone call from them. They said they are working on my file and they will help me in my pursuit for funding. Thanks guys.

- diana fernandez| 2 replies(AFTER I READ THIS COMMENTS I CALLED ALLIANCE CONSULING)I took alliance consulting services, I spoke to the supervisor MR GREEN who explained me the all program, firt of all they are a consulting company, and do not guarantee 5000$, the money doesn’t come from them! they only match you up with agencies who have funding this year, after you apply if you get denied they give you your money back if you don t receive at least 5000$ worth of assistance, the 298$ is a consulting fee, just like a lawyer would charge you to match you up with funding or agencies (the lawyer would charge you 300$ an hour to work on that)! ALSO ALLIANCE CONSULTING HAS NO COMPLAINTS so I decided to take the service!
- Aaron| 1 replyDiana, Write back if it works for you, I have my doubts I just got off the phone with these people and the lady "Judy" absolutly refused to send some sort of contact or company info through the mail unless i paid the $300 dollars up front. Sounds like a scam to me!! Is there anyway to get the police involved??? I mean I got away clean cause I didnt take the bait, but i feel for people like Diana that did.

- diana fernandez| 1 replyI had my doubts yesterday, so i called back again to talk to a supervisor. I told him that I felt uncomfortable and he told me that he would refund me if I felt that way. I got my refund this morning in my bank account. That's when I realized that this company is legit. I called back again today to talk to the same supervisor, who refunded me, and I told him that I really do need some help to get funding. He told me that he doesn't want to pressure me, but if I wanted to take the service he would follow my case along and that they would do their best to help me get some aid. It is clear that since they gave me a refund that they are not there to steal my money but to help me.

- diana fernandez| 1 replyI forgot to mention that I took Alliance Consulting's service again and I feel perfectly confident that they will help me get funding. If it doesn't work out I already have a very positive experience with their refund policy.

- Celeste replies to diana fernandezDid you as of yet get any money
- Celeste replies to diana fernandezDo you know of anyone who has gotten any grant money as of yet.
- Celeste replies to AaronI just called this number since I am concerned for a friend who gave out bank info. I was told it was a private company and they would not give out their address or location and would only speak to the person they contacted.
I was not their customer and would not give me any information.
Any reputable company I believe would be willing to give out more info about themselves, expecially since they want all you personal bank information. - michaelI received the same phone calls and the way they wanted to pressure me was extremely un-business like. There is no legitimate or licensed organization in this country that will provide services ONLY if one sends them a registration fee up front without any e-mail confirmation or mailed documents to review. I have reported this event and will pursue an investigation into it at the State level if necessary, in whcih case it will be reported to the Federal agency that investigates on-line business fraud. Unless I receive confirmation of a business license, I would reccommend not engaging in any business with this company.

- kerry(I TOOK THEIR SERVICES 2 months ago AND I AM VERY HAPPY)I guess you didn’t understand the program, (AS DIANA SAID) this company is a consulting company, this is not an agency, as of today I am waiting for my report.
- Paula| 4 repliesI also filled out an app online, and several days later, they called me. I did give them my account info, and hopefully they will come through for me. I don't mind paying a "broker" fee if they perform.
After reading the the above emails, it seems to be 50/50.
To be continued...... - Danny replies to Paula| 3 repliesI don't understand, if you think it is still a lagit company than why did you file a report on the phone number and why are you still visiting this page. I believe I was also scammed because if you go to rip off.com all they did was change their name to there most previous name.
- Dale R| 1 replyInitially I had doubts about Alliance, when I first signed up back in May, 2007. I have now received a report with instructions of exactly how/where to get my funding. I have contacted two agencies and I have four more to go to get complete my work. Just like Paula, I don't mind paying a 'broker' fee if they can help me get the funding I deserve. Remember, Alliance doesn't pay the funding, but they did help me get on the right road to get it. You should stop criticizing them until you try it!!
