It's some auto-dialer. They call and hang up on us.

Have called us 9x in the past 2 months...don't leave any messages.

Have called several times - "Out of area" or "Unknown Name" - no message
Just annoying...

They called me twice tonight within 50 minutes. I called back and got a recording that said if I want to be put on their DNC list I could. So I did. It's an insurance place I guess. The interesting thing is that since my number has been added to the national DNC list, I've gotten lots more of these annoying calls - not less. What the hell is that???

Sphinx: received a call from 18668008013 around 1:00 PM on 08/03/07 and it seemed suspicious. WOuld like to know company behand call.

We just received a call from this number at 8p on 8/8/07.  It is Wells Fargo trying to sell Life Insurance.

Calls during the day, evening and weekends.  Sometimes as many as 4 or 5 times a day.  When answered, there is no one at the other end.  Immensely annoying....to say the least.

I am Tired of this phone calls for the previous owner of this number.

Caller claimed to represent Wells Fargo.  As we are negotiating lower rates w/ Wells Fargo, I listened to what he had to say.  Wanted to send something about fire protection insurance.  He had our address and our names.  He asked me if I was between the ages 18-80.  I said yes.  He asked me to verify this by giving him my date of birth.  I said I don't give out any info.  He said "no one can do anything w/ your date of birth", I repeated that I don't give out any info.  He said "thank you for your time, if you have questions call, blah blah blah, (too fast, I didn't get the number) and then he hung up on me!!  VERY ODD AND SUSPICIOUS!!!

I got a call from this number twice tonight within 2 hours.  The second time I answered.  It took awhile for someone to come on the line, but finally a woman asked for me, and when I asked "who's calling," they abruptly hung up.

I got 8 phone calls from this number in 1 day!!  4 of those phone calls were within 1 hour 16 minutes!!!  VERY ANNOYING!!!

I have received exactly 10 calls every 10 minutes from this number
I don't pick up because of my caller ID.
I'd like someone to take action against this kind of idiocy.

I get repeated calls from this number. The few times I have answered, no one is there or they hang up! VERY ANNOYING! I have read that if we (on the DNC list) don't report this calls, they will just get worse. If no one reports them, they don't get fined, and will keep calling. I am going to start reporting them. We all need to stick together on this, or they will only continue.

We receive many of these calls on a daily basis.  So far I haven't answered the calls but they are getting very annoying!!

There is never anyone there.

They just called again and there was actually someone there. They stated that I was a credit card holder and then told me that they were going to enroll me into a free month of $1 million coverage so that if I was run over by a bus that my family would get some money out of it.  If after that month, I still wanted it, I didn't have to do anything and they would charge my card for the monthly fees.  I calmly stated that I wasn't interested and not to call me anymore. the lady then rambled off a # for me to call and then hung up.

Returned their call. The automation begins, "Thank you for calling 'insurance services. . . . . 'Company not named. Was given the option to add my phone number to their DNC list but the option would not take effect for 30 days.

I received 4 calls from this number within approx. a hour. I don't answer because I don't know the number. They are on my reject list so when they call my phone doesn't ring, it just shows me that they called. VERY ANNOYING!
