- Ex Collector| 3 repliesThese dumb A$$wipes at Premiere Credit are going to be paying a friend's student loans off.
He had one of these low IQ Premiere collectors call him, using a local area code spoofed number, and left this 866 number with the bogus reference bit on an answer machine.
Here it is folks ... FDCPA States:
806. Harassment or abuse is, among other Premiere practices, ...
(5) Causing a telephone to ring or engaging any person
in telephone conversation repeatedly or continuously
with intent to annoy, abuse, or harass any person at the
called number.
or
(6) Except as provided in section 804, the placement of
telephone calls without meaningful disclosure of the
caller’s identity.
Just one more violation logged for the lawsuit. Folks, begin logging all the violations.
These A$$wipes need to be taught a lesson!- Caller: Premiere Credit
- Call type: Debt collector
- Ex Collector replies to Ex Collector... the date and time of the spoofed # are on the caller ID, and the message is on the answer machine, dated also, with the idiot asking my friend to call the 866 number.
Hey, how many people would like to bitchslap a couple of these [***]???
I would! - sue replies to Caring CitizenThis place has called me several times, I am on the do not call list and they have no right to call me in the first place.
When I called them back to see what it was about they asked me my name. I told them you called me. They asked for my reference # When I told them they asked about a man who is my brother. He lives in a different state and we have different last names. I called him and told him about the call and he told me that he NEVER gave anyone my name as a reference. He never even went to college if this is what they are collecting for.
If these people call you TELL THEM NOTHING! IT IS NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS AND IT IS A VIOLATION OF PRIVACY. !!!!! - Pete| 1 replyUsed the following talking points:
1. This is not a sales call.
2. The call is intended for the individual at this number who has a contractual agreement with ECNC (the letters are not clear and may be similar).
3. Hang up if you are not this person.
4. This is Premier Credit of North America: 1-866-808-7284
Have been receiving this call for about 3 months on a weekly basis.- Caller: Premier Credit of North America

- DEE DEE replies to PeteYes, they called from a local number and leave a message that says this is not a sales call, this message is intended for this individual, if you are not this person, please hang up, do not listen to this call...then they say they are Premier Credit call regarding this reference number. They are an annoyance and call just about daily.
Last week I hung up and a few minutes later they called my mother-in-law to press her about information regarding me and if she knew my maiden name and whereabouts....they told her about my personal information...she called to inform me..
Today Nov 2, 2009 they called from a local number on the caller ID that said unavailable but had the number listed, left a message of who she was that she was calling to verify location information and then left the 1-866-808-7284 and reference number but did not say who the company was. When you call back they still don't announce who the company is.. - dee deeThis Company is in violation of the rules and the FAIR Debt Collection practice. They call continually and harass....they leave messages on an answering machine that says "This message is for....This is an attempt to collect a debt...If you are not....please hang up and do not listen to this message....the one day I listened, answered, and hung up and a few minutes later my mother in law was calling me saying they called her harrassing her and very nasty and pressing asking if she knew me, knew my maiden name, where I lived, if the ...number was mine, etc. Then they gave her information about my account...
Today Nov 2, 2009 they called from a local number that came up as the caller unavailable but the girl said she was calling to verify location information and to call the 1-866-808-7284 number and refer to the referance number. She never identified who she was, or that she was calling for a collection company or that she was calling from Premier Credit although the number she left is for them. When you call back they still dont identify who the company is on their recordings.- Caller: premier credit

- alotamoney replies to Caring CitizenI have been paying my account on time every month. I had a problem and I called to ask if I could skip the next month. (22 days ahead of time) I was given to a supervisior named Anessa Schoelch and she tore into me as if I was a piece of trash. I had never missed a payment. She threatened to garnish my wages and would not let me talk. Did not want to hear me say anything. She was brash and rude. I will never answer another phone call from them and I will never make another payment to them!!!!!! Ole girl, pissed me off.
- LuluNEVER give out your personal information to anyone you do not know anything about when they ask you to VERIFY their information. Keep your information SAFE! How absurd to ask me to give THEM my year of birth to verify their date. I am going to give Shaquira my birth year. I don't care if it was Fred, it's insanely crazy to give out anything that may one day get in the hands of a company or person who can steal your identity long enough to do grave financial harm to you.

- percy replies to IllegalThis is inaccurate, they are one of the 17 subcontractors for the United states department of education. They collect on behalf of them because the us doe cannot do so themselves.
- percy replies to Ex Collector| 1 replyTechnically they can call up to 4 times a day per the FDCPA
- BigA replies to percyOk, well aside from the fact that you are replying to a post that is going on 6 years old, would you like to point out exactly where in the FDCPA it says that? Because when I read it, it mentions 8 AM to 9 PM and nothing else. It does mention harassing phone calls but sets no limit on how many calls can be made in a day or exactly what is harassing as that would have to be determined on a case by case basis by a judge.
Just in case you don't have a copy handy, here is a link to the FDCPA: http://www.ftc.gov/enforcement/rules/rulemaki ... ctices-act-text
Disseminating wrong information is very detrimental to those people who are not astute enough to know that they should look it up themselves and take the advice someone posts as gospel with not proof.
