this number called my phone and said they were UPS and I needed to call them back about a parcel they had to deliver.  Parcel was never delivered and when I called them back after 10 times to complain with no response back from them, they blocked my number.  I say beware of them for your own good.  Do not give them any of your personal information.

I had a similar experience to mel. the person said they were from UPS and said they had a package. i was suspicious from the get go because the caller  id on my cell phone said it was a call from my parents house. (i'm one of those people that doesn't answer phone numbers i don't recognize.) anyway, he said it was a check and need my current address to get it to me.  something else i found funny was that he couldn't tell me who it was from, but could tell me it was check for a certain amt. since i wasn't expecting a check from anyone, so i said it should be delivered to the ups store on a street nearby, but it never was.

that was a month ago. i just recieved SEVERAL more calls today. this time it was courier service called OnTime. this time the caller id came in as my parents house and then a min later as my work number. I WAS AT WORK WHEN THE CALL 'FROM' WORK was recieved.  then 2 calls from this 866#.  they seem VERY VERY shade and i expect to yell at the next person who calls me.
