- Martina replies to BobI also got a call from these clowns.
I challenge everyone to call them back at least twice to waste THEIR time.
Play along and give them the general information they want, don't give away personal info. Just string them along and waste their time! - Martina| 1 replyI got the call too.
I called them back twice to waste their time.
I Just answered general questions, and strung along the sales guy until he hung up on me. VERY FUNNY!
HA!
I suggest you call them back at least a couple of times. Tie up their lines and waste their time.
Cheers!- Call type: Telemarketer
- THe DudeI did the same thing as well.
After letting him know that I'm currently employed in the medical field, the caller asked me why I was looking. I then reminded him that I was returning HIS call and that I'm always open to new opportunities.
The funny thing is that that after letting the guy know that I sell pharmaceuticals, he suggested I call back. I then questioned him about the position he was calling about and he hung up. Hillarious!
Call them back and just waste their time. Give these guys a taste of their own medicine!- Call type: Telemarketer
- Coley| 1 replyI got this message just now and am going to find out their location and send them a letterbomb with my $29 check. Hopefully that will stop them from calling all of you and maybe even give a warning to other dickbag scammer [***] out there that want to exploit the USA's [***] job market.
- Caller: Dan the Catalyst for Murder
- tmpI got the same call, so I called them back and gave them grief. I also reported them on the "do not call list" website. Even if your resume IS out in the public domain they can't call you and ask for money.
- Caller: pharm sales

- San DiegoI got the same call this morning at 6:27am pst on my cell phone by someone claiming to be "Dan" who supposedly got "my resume" and would like to screen me for a pharmaceutical job. I did not answer because I knew that no legitimate company would call me at 6am in the morning, perhaps after 8am. These people know that the unemployment rate is high so they prey on unemployed people at the time when they are the most vulnerable. THIS IS NOT A LEGITIMATE COMPANY. ANYONE WHO RECEIVES A CALL FROM THIS PHONE NUMBER, PLEASE DOCUMENT THE DATE AND TIME AND FORWARD A COMPLAINT TO THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION.
- DavidThis is a damned scam. They phish job sites and look for resumes, so if you have information out there, that's where they get your info. When you call back, they are very aggressive and make it sould like you did something for them to call you.
- Caller: National Sales
- CarolHonestly, with our credentials in the pharmaceutical field, I wonder why this company thought we would be so ignorant as to believe its ridiculous story? I wouldn't pick intelligent people as 'marks.'
- MichaelYup, I told him that the $29 was a red flag for me; before that it really sounded legit. I asked him for the name of the company, to which he replied "Certified Sales Reps" and assured me that they were a well-established etc etc etc I said loudly, interrupting him, "Thanks I'll check it out" and hung up. Glad I did, but THEY ARE SELLING SOMETHING: FALSE HOPE IN A BAD JOB MARKET!!

- Brian replies to Bob| 1 replySame phone call but from 800-730-0791. Was very vague about the company name and said they were called Certified Sales Reps then he changed it to Certified Sales Jobs, he was going on and on stating they need money for a background check. Once i said I would never pay a company money for a background check and that i was going to Google the company and reviews, he shut right up and ended the conversation quickly. If it seems shady, it is!
- JD| 2 repliesDifferent number....800 729-6254. And this was from "david". He asked for email, I said it's on my resume and he said "scott" has my resume. He said Pfizer and threw in a couple other big names and said that they pay if I get hired and there is a $29 app fee. I asked..."are you asking for $$ from me David?" and he said no. And I said, Oh the company pays that too? and he said they pay hiring fees and there is a $29 app fee. I asked again...are you asking me for $$$ and he said...what's your credit card number.
Sad thing is....I am sure there are desparate enough people out there to be fooled by this.- Caller: Certified Sales

- Chris replies to JD| 1 replySame story, called by a recording, pressed 1, connected with someone who wanted to know why I was calling the HR dept?!?! I said, you people called me... Asked for $29.00 app fee, and I told him it would be ridiculous of me to give him that money without me doing my due diligence. I asked him if the wish to hire stupid that just whip out the credit card at the drop of a hat? I told him that I had no experience in pharm sales, and my degree was not in anything medical/bio related. He said that was ok because of my sales experience. HAHAHA Asked for the company name, "Certified Sales Jobs" from Santa Barbara, Ca was what Joe told me. Their website looks like a crappy scam and has no real information on it. They called me from 800-725-0801.
- Meek| 1 replyReceived a call from Chase at Certified Sales Jobs. He stated that my info had come up in a search they performed for potential Sales positions they were looking to fill. I gave my background info(in the medical industry) and I could feel his eyes widening!I have been in Medical Coding &Compliance sales for 10 years and have a rather large client base of my own(which he does/did not know). Everything he said sounded really good, but as soon as someone says you can make at least 6 figures a yr,and all you have to do is pay 29.00 for us to put together a "qualifications package" to represent you to a database of employers in your area,I knew this guy was taking me for a ride.
I asked if I could research the company and then call back and he said there was no need for me to because they provide a website and customer service info in the pack they were going to email me,and that I would also receive a userid and password for that site. The call became redundant to me after that and I just took his # and said I would call back when I was ready.
Here is the # he gave me 888-224-6862...just in case they have changed the numbers they use to harrase good people like us.- Caller: Certified Sales Jobs
- Fresno, Ca.I received this same type of call around 9 am (my time). The caller gave the name "Scott" , who said he had my resume and that he wanted to discuss some sales jobs in the health/pharmaceutical field. I'm not planning on calling him back.
- Caller: Not Given
- Michele replies to ChrisI was also called from the 0801 number. This clown actually tried to make me feel dumb for not taking advantage of the deal right then. I knew it sounded too good to be true. There is a special place in hell for parasites like this.
- sales TomJust got off the phone with "john". He said "scott" had my resume. SCAM. He said I was paying fro a pre-screen.

- Anonym replies to ColeyI had applied to a couple of Pharm Sales positions on Monster. So, when I heard the message on my machine, I got excited. What a great Christmas present the day before Christmas Eve. As soon as the guy said "$29" I said "Well, I'll have to check you guys out." He then got slightly indignante. But, they still emailed me
I researched this "company" and they have put up a Website. It looks like they are a job seeker service (with resume adivce and all various associated fees) and less of a job placement businesss for people looking to fill positions (if they are even a real business at all). I will be calling the BBB of the various cities of which they say they are in. But, a call at 10PM? That's not normal business hours for the west coast.
I should not have let myself feel hopeful for even a minute. I hate scumbags who pray on desperation. - Ahhhhh!!!!| 1 replyQuote on Hot Jobs Website:
"Legitimate sales jobs should not require any financial investment on the part of the applicant". End of story.
Hot Jobs says thumbs down to any request for money - it is a scam. These guys can suck on it. Cerified Crooks, not Certified Sales Jobs.- Caller: Certified Sales Jobs
