These people are very rude and relentless.  Have been Calling my place of employment since 2/21/13 with threats of police serving me documents of being sued over a credit card matter froom 2006 to 2009 time period. I have contacted them and each time am transfered to a different very rude unprofessional person to deal with as I have questions and concerns as to how in the world they have personal information and who they are. The phone calls to my office have been multipule times during the day and the harassment is now way out of control I have asked for them to stop calling and they will not what actions can I take?? Does anyone have some help or input?? They claim to be:

persons calling asking for info and want to serve you you with with legal papers are not professionals they can call you a place and harrasment you i have made a compliant with my phone carrier and i have told to document calls and make a police report legal companies will be honest about them and not leave fake threats on the phone that just not legal according to Det. from the LAPD I spoke with.

John thanks for the inquire.. They started called again today threats and wll not stop calling my place of employment with all that I have researched with the BBB the are doing business under a AKA name and not affiliated with the BBB,  and on line I have seen so many of the same remarks, I very much feel that this is a SCAM and that they have found a way to hack and obtain personal information.  I am wondering if anyone has actually paid them money,  I am ground to stand my ground and not give them a dime until they provide me with proper in writing notification.

Calling me and family members. When I answer, they hang up. My family has received voice mails stating that caller represents a legal form dealing with criminal activity and had papers to serve me with. If this was a legit collection agency, they certainly would know they can't tell people I'm involved in criminal activity.
Also, I looked up on my credit report for the origination date of my contract breach with BodA, it is well outside the statute if limitations, and considering they accessed my credit report this month, they would be knowingly suing me illegally. Thus, I believe it's all scare tactics, and any threat of lawsuit is BS.

They called me my ex wife and threatened to send agents to my place of employment . I have not been employed in 6 years . The caller was rude and a little to aggressive even congress owes money he should call them.

I have received several calls from this number (I even have Call Blocker on my Android and they figured out a way to get around it) They've called my work number a gazillion times and always say the same thing "we have legal papers that we need to serve you with and we'll use any means necessary to deliver"  the person goes on to say that she will make 3 attempts to get ahold of me after which she will forward the papers to the proper authorities"  Really?  3 attempts?  More like 100...if this was any kind of reputable business, they would not leave threatening messages about serving papers at your place of business..Is that even legal??  I caved in about a year ago and called one of these numbers back, I ended up making payments on a bill from 2002!!  Don't be fooled, most of these calls are from agencies who have purchased old debts and are still trying to collect on them even though the statute of limitations has long run out.  I do have one question though, has anyone experienced a call that the person leaves their first and last name?  Are these names bogus?

I have gotten a call from this number along with a doc # I did call the number back and I found that they helped me out with my finances not only was I in a lot of debt, but my credit is a whole lot better!!! thank you Winchester Group

This company keeps calling me after I have asked them several times to stop.

I recieved several calls at my place of employment, they have spoken to my HR Department on TWO Occasions and still call asking for direction on how to serve me after they were already instructed! The first call I recieved was from a man asked me if my SS# was ***-***- 5848 and dob **/**/61 and even gave me an address, guess what?? None of it was mine! I was patched through to Ms Cochran ext 112  she nailed me to the cross and refused to give me any information except to say that I owed on an Imagine card from 2003. I was aked to give my credit card number and once they recieved it , I would recieve a fax fogiving my debt . i told her to serve me!! it has been six weeks and no one has shown up!

I am having the same issue with this group. They will go a few months without calling and then start calling again. I have no outstanding debt so not sure why they are calling!

this company is the bottom feeders of debt collectors. I have helped numerous clients with this company in particular. They will knowingly break every law in the Fair Debt Collection act as a scare tactic to get you to start paying on debts that are 75% of the time past your states Statute of Limitations law, but once you have made a payment even if past fair collection laws you are subject to the entire amount again. Be very careful in dealing with them ....they will break any and ALL laws even mis-representing themselves as process servers, Sheriff Dept., Attorney's, etc. When answering any phone calls first thing to do is tell them you are recording this conversation and ask for the real name ( first and last name) by law they have to give you all information you ask for, ask to have copy of original documents pertaining to debt ( they have to supply legally within 5 days), Check your states Statute of limitations on revolving charge accounts ( usually 3- 5 years) if your outside that send them certified letter and make sure you c/c a copy to your States Attorney General notifying them to stop contacting you regarding this matter .....hope this helps! .

Guess what they now have a new phone no. it's 866-707-7582 and new PMB #71 for their mail.  I received phone call that I owned a dedit to a company since 2005.  Thanks for the information I have contacted my Attorney and who is also a Judge, and that person told that they would really lilke to go after this so call company.  When I returned that phone call the person who answered the phone  would only say "Corporate Office" no name after being asked  and all I could get was "Corporate Office".  Unbelieveable.  Again thank you for the information.
