Has called for 2 different numbers the other number 7162000947. Christina from CCRT. Regarding a 7 yrs old pay day loan wants money. They said the will get court documents together. I said ok I'll wait for sheriff to deliver them. They said you owe first amount was 5,323.00 they want 4100. Then said I owe 14,000.00. I have Google an printed off that the CCRT are a scam. They said I owe company called Hydro 2. Well you can dive deep an find out that this is a large group of people scamming people out of money.

A family member got a phone call from the same number. The person was asking to speak to me regarding ccrt mediations. Needless to say I did look up the number and it is a scam. I had to call my family member back and let them know to be on the lookout for more scams. This is the second time this year that this has happened! Just because they sound businesslike and leave a first and last name, does not make them official! Be-on-the-lookout people!

I got a today from a CCRT saying I owe a payday loan for Advance American, saying that I am them $3,600. The person that called me was Chrisita. And when calling back they didn't answer like a business, they just said hello. When I gave my mom promise to talk to these people Chrisitina became very snippy with my mom and won't give her any information and asked her she wanted my Tax ID and my mom said yeah sure and she gave her some number and see you in court. My mom response was yeah you will.
I think the FBI should be involved iwith this scam going around.

Just because someone on the phone calling you says you owe a debt does not mean you actually owe it.

If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:

1.    Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2.     Demand a debt validation letter by US mail.  E-mail no good.
3.    Do not pay  the collection agent or anyone else a  dime until the debt is validated

Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply ignore them and block their calls.

If they are bothering you, report them:

Note that the US Supreme Court in the Case of HENSON ET AL. v. SANTANDER CONSUMER USA INC., has recently ruled that the provisions of the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act do not apply if the creditor owns the debt in question.  As a practical matter this probably won't effect the kinds of scam debt collectors who often show up on 800notes.  The scam collectors don't give you any information about themselves so it is impossible to know whether or not they in fact "own" the debt in question.  Most do not send debt validation letters and many often say they are collecting for someone else.  So, make the complaint anyway if they are bothering you.  Let the FTC sort it out.

If they continue to bother you,  and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.

You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them.
You have to get tuff with these people because,  being akin to thugs, brute force is (metaphorically speaking).   the only thing they understand.

I got a call from Christina yesterday morning saying it was a legal matter. As she was talking she was trying to tell me that I owe 3600 on old 8 years old pay day loan through Advanced America. So I called Advanced America right away and spoke with a Jessica an she said no it was paid for. She also informed me that there is a scam going around. So if you get a call from a company supposedly called CCRT, inform the police right away. These people are trying to scam gullible people out of large sums of money.

Ccrt has called twice saying i owe from a 7yr old payday loan and were going to file judgement against me said they sent letter 30days ago but they didnt. Is this a scam?

i just received a call from a Damian saying that he has court documents for me to sign and that i am being sued. as far as i know i owe nothing but ccrt called a few months ago and told me that i owe for a payday loan that was already payed off years ago. but now this man called and said that he has court documents for me to sign. i am not sure if this is a real thing or not but when i looked up the number this is what came up. so i am thinking this is a scam. i will sit and wait and see if someone comes her to give me court papers.

I have gotten calls from this same collector under 3 different names is this truely a scam

I received a call this morning from a Ava Monroe with CCRT Arbitration and Mediation claiming that we owe money on a 9 year old payday loan!  I told her that it had been paid back already in the past.  She says in a snotty tone, "no it hasn't ".   She then goes into the whole thing about how we will be summoned to appear in court, blah, blah, blah.  But, after reading the comments, I looked up statute of limitations on a debt is 6 years.
Oh and on my caller ID it popped up as unknown.  Normally I won't answer any number that I don't recognize. But I'm so sick and tired of getting calls from telemarketers, scammers, etc., so I answered.
Anyway, please be careful with these crooks.
