This number belonged to a housing scammer on Craigslist that was attempting to rent out a house in Cincinnati, Ohio using pictures of a house in Florida.

Scammer is at it again in Florida, using 866-824-3116 for craigslist house rental ads.

Housing scammer craigslist florida ad number to call for renting a house

Doing the same thing in Texas as well

No name of business and attempting to get money for a rental lease here in Florida

The same sceanrio is happening with this phone number in Maryland. The person is listing a home that does not match the address. I am from the area and know the neighborhood. When I messaged the contact on the Craiglist post, they responded and asked me to call them. When I called, the person had a foreign accent (possibly Asian) and did not seem to have any information on the home. I asked for more photos and they said they would send some. Because the house that is shown in the ONE picture shows a single family home, that isn't typical of the Annapolis area, and when I googled the address, a condo came up (that is what I knew that address to be from my experience of living here). Renters beware!

He back at it try to scam me on Craig list for a house while we were on the phone I was doing my research and found yall message online glad I didn't give him alot of info or put my card number in the website he shared with me

I think it's a scam.
