They kept telling me I had a loan back in 2015 that was never paid. So 5 years later they decide to contact me... 🤔 weird...

I had this text today 8/25/2020, and I would have documents delivered 8/26/2020, I have dealt with these types of messages and results vary, They have told me an officer would be at my door to arrest me to try and scam money from me, they have also claimed I owed a debt that I needed to pay that I had already paid, I wouldn't give them any info, they will use it for other scams

I received a text message claiming documents would arrive 08/26/20 between 11:00/4:00and can only be signed by me. I don’t mean any harm but if some stranger show up at my door, I have a right to protect myself. Also at the end of the text message it says you can opt out. If you call the number it just rings and a legitimate business at least have a voicemail after so many rings

Same experience as everyone else. Text saying I will have documents arriving on a specific date between a specific time for me to sign.

866-824-7787 keeps text the same message.

Solution for me is that I have the newer Iphone so I blocked and silenced/blocks all unknown numbers. Unfortunately it didn’t work this time because I had the silence button off🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I received the same message today 8/26/20. Stating they have documents that need to be signed on the 28th between 10-5. So glad I check these things because I've been scammed out of $500 before.

I don't have time for this crazy scams! I don't have any money to give them, so get a job.

I had the same exact text message sent to me as well. I decided to call the number because it indicated in the text message that if more information, please contact in which I did just that. It gave me a live woman who for whatever reason was able to get my name and phone information right away and transferred me to another live person. They introduced their name (a man). I request to ask the man what is the call in regards to, which he did not choose to share with me unless I verified my name and date of birth. I refused to give it to him at that moment because I demande an answer with who they were and where they were calling from. He informed that he is unable to share legal information without verifying that it was me and decided to hang up the call. I, then decided to call again to explain that the person hung up the phone on me and wanted to know who they were, she then transferred me again! This time, a different man. This man shared that it was Wesson Management. I also asked where they were calling from, which he expressed that I was asking too many questions and asked me "Are you calling to get information or are you calling for us to give you the information". In any matters, businesses are to not conduct business with you like this. I told him that I had someone hang up with me after asking several times who they were. He shared to me that notes indicated that I refused to share my information, but I told him they refused to share who they were, but asked again my name and date of birth, which I said "ok" on and then a hang up. He told me that it was legal matters that they tried to attempt to deliver the document to serve me for court on a past due cash advance payday loan back from 2016. At that point, I knew that it was not for me. He kept going on about confirming my information, trying to verify my name, date of birth, address is correct, before getting to ask about my social security AND bank and to recit off my bank account number. SCAM! I told them they have the wrong person and that none of that information they have collected is correct.

They were extremely upset and made harmful threats that I'm better at being seen in the court and being arrested. Be careful! Also another thing, at the time of the call, I was also googling them that came up with no results and also checked on the Better Business Bureau (BBB) to search for them with their so-called establishment based out of Phoenix, AZ.

Did you end up getting to the bottom of it?

I received a text message saying the same complaint as these people here. I called that number and some guy answered providing me with only first name , I asked for last name but he can’t provide me one. I don’t know but i felt threatened by these person. What should I do?
