- WiseToXpressRxs| 2 repliesExpressScripts is a large corp. that is operated like a scam. They have sent out medicine that was not ordered from them, and billed for it. Yet, they did not send a letter of pre-authorization that they said they would (we have this message still on our answ. machine). The telephone rep. my spouse spoke with when spouse called about getting the pre-authorization renewal (for a BP med spouse has been on for 8 yrs., works very well with no adverse reactions or side-effects; and, spouse should not have had to make this call in the first place) was rude to spouse, not at all helpful. We are still getting bills for the med we did not order, and still do not have letter of approval of the med, after 3 months.
ExpressScripts has caused us to spend several hours of our time dealing with their scam and uncaring way of operation. This coverage is in a state operated plan for state employees and educators. We have gone to the state agency that operates the plan about the problems with XpressRx's, and as yet have had no satisfaction, though I expect we ultimately will, because we will not give up on it. We will carry it on to whatever extent necessary, including the newspapers and probably most effectively, the state pharmacy board. Express Scripts tried to push out all independent and local pharmacies from being able to be providers with this state group. That was not successful, so they are now trying to badger, bully and scam members into buying their rx's from this large corp. that does not care a twit about people they are supposed to be serving. They just called again, on MLK day and I was home from work. I called back, got a guy on the line, briefly told him the story about the scum bags he works for, and advised him they would do well to quit calling us. He said he would put us on their Do Not Call list.
We'll see, but just more ammunition against these money grubbing jerks.- Caller: Express Scripts/Medco

- Tom replies to WiseToXpressRxs| 1 replyThis is an interesting post as I've worked with express scripts and now medco for the past five years or so and nver had a problem.
I do know they have auto dialers that alert you to medicine that is due to be refilled, etc. but I've never had any of the issues noted here. That is not to say any of what is being said is incorrect...only that I've never had a problem with them. - ACthis is Express Scripts - used to be Medco - a mail order pharmacy. Tonight's call was to try to get me to order a refill on a medication, but I'm not ready for a refill yet.
- Caller: Express Scripts
- Call type: Event reminder
- focuspuller replies to iPhone Userget verizon they block calls
- yahweh replies to TomGotta agree with Tom. Been dealing with them and Medco for years. Get reminders about prescriptions and get them in a very timely manner. Can't see why or how they would be a scam.
