BIG SCAM. Went to a lighting fixtures website. Immediately received a message. Safari is infected, please call 1-866-836-0831 or visit us at safari-systems.com. I did call them and the call went to India - I was immediately suspicious. I hung up and called Apple tech support from the number listed on www.apple.com. They told me it was a well known scam and all I had to do to get rid of the website, was follow these steps:
1. Go to Settings
2. Go to Safari
3. Towards the bottom, go to Clear History and Website Data
That's all. It will get rid of the message.

thank you Sandy
