Amber this is Amber Larson calling about your unsecured credit card debt,. this is a total scam . Called me twice in a row from 2 different numbers and 2 different states.  they said it was funny my name is amber as well. NOT

Same as everyone else above with the same reference number!

"Amber Larson" left a message for me to "call her back."

No one answered when i called back. Has anyone been in touch with her and if so what is the scam.

If you took the time to read the 3 pages in this thread, you would know its a phishing scam to get your Credit Card info. Everyone is called with the same exact message, containing the same "reference number" as a clue to it being nobody you want to bother calling back unless you just want to mess around with them.
Most likely they will try to convince you to change to a new repayment plan and scam some money from you.

The Robo scam message:

Called with same message, call bakc number and reference number outlined above - Caller ID came up as 458-225-5588

I got the same call from Amber Larson, and the voice message she left was verbatim as is the reference number.  After looking through all of you who listed this caller, the reference is the same...990005.

Same as everyone else.  Amber Larson....blah blah blah. Number that showed on my caller id was 443-843-1326 but her message was to call 866-840-1441.  Have blocked this number.

I just received same called with the same message and same reference #

Number on my cell phones shows 208-482-1101. She left a voice message: "Yes, this is Amber Larson and this message is concerning your unsecured credit debt. Um, I need to discuss your consolidation or repayment options with the new changes that have taken effect, so, if you could be sure to give me a call back, my number is 866-840-1441, I'll give you a reference number of 990005. Thank you."

Unknown number call, no ring but screen flashed and then got a voicemail notification.

"Yes this is Amber Larson and this message is concerning your unsecured credit debt. Um. I need to discus your consolidation or repayment options with the new policies taking affect so if you could please be sure to give me a call back my number is 8668401441 with your reference number 990005 thank you"

Should I feel special?  Cuz Amber has called me twice in the past week.  She called from 509-476-8569.  I think I'll skip the callback for now.  Let her know I'm playing hard to get.  :-)

Same exact message and reference number. Total scam.

I got a voicemail for this scam this morning, although she is calling herself Amber Morris now.  Same pitch though - calling "concerning your unsecured credit" and asking me to call back at 866-877-2442 with reference number 090-055.

Same as above, same Amber Morris, same callback phone, and same case number 090055.
