866-840-4148

I received a call from a different number (866-840-4246) claiming to be Progressive and asked me to call this number back in order to retrieve an important message.  I am a Progressive customer but was suspicious so I called the Progressive Customer Service number on their website and the agent said there was no record of them needing to communicate with me and that I should not call this number as it was a scam.

Recieved a voicemail from another number 866-840-4246 saying its progressive asking me to call them back on this number with a "message code" to hear important information regarding my policy. Neither of these numbers numbers are on my ID cards or their website or app, so I called a number that is on my ID cards they checked my home and my auto policies and both were current with no recent attempted contacts. Beware SCAM

Call from 866-840-4246 of a recording asking me (specifically used my full first and last name) to call 1(866)840-4148, and enter a message retrieval code.  Reached out to Progressive via their support chat and asked a representative to review my account for any issues.  All good.  Told them about the call and they suggested filing a complaint with the FCC.

"Progressive" insurance called for me by name (and mentioned my wife's name). My blocker program blocked it automatically so it went to VM. Given message code to call back. I checked my progressive account, and I am all up to date. I see no reason I would be getting such a call. Likely scam.

Received 3 SCAM calls today (caller ID and message stated) from Progressive (866) 840-4246 recommending me to call (866) 840-4148 and to enter a 7 digit code to retrieve a message. Did not call the number, but did call Progressive and they stated they had not made the request and that my account was in good standing..

I just did the same and was told they don't use "message codes" and that it certainly was a scam

Same happened to us, same phone number. Sounds like a scam.

I got the same message with a code # ; Progressive C/S stated that it is NOT one of their messages! What is wrong with this world!!
