Got a letter with this number as contact. From "American Airways". 2 free airline tickets. Signed Michelle Dalo, Vice President. Scam.

same here, same number same signature. value of the award is 1,398 ....  it is clearly a scam but they are getting better ....

Is this from a credit card collector trying to get you to call them?

Received multiple phone calls, along with a letter from American Airways, indicating I qualified for 2 roundtrip airline tickets. In addition, I had to respond by June 6, 2012 - clearly a scam!

I received a letter today saying the same thing.  I'm guessing by the comment dates, this is a recent scam. They couldn't even take the time or effort to make it look like it is actually from American Airlines.

This is definitely a scam, has anyone called the number and found out what kind of scam it is?

Same here! Signed Michelle Dalo from "American Airways". While I give them a thumbs up for their efforts in making the letter look legit, I feel sorry for the underpaid sucker that is in charge of handwriting the multitude of addresses and signatures in blue pen.

I just received the same letter today.  I mean, it smelled of scam when I first opened the letter.  There is no such company called American Airways.

Impressive, they have seeded the web with sites referencing this to make it seem more legit...getting better, real hand-written, limited grammar errors and misspellings, BUT, unless US Airways and American Airlines had an ugly baby, then that is an Epic Fail on the scammers part!
