- Tony| 1 replyReceived a letter saying I won free tickets to anywhere in the US. 866-841-8077 was the phone number
given to call back. The letter was amateurish (the letterhead read "US AHRLINES) . The letter had a postmark of Phoenix, AZ- Caller: US AHRLINES
- Neil replies to TonyGot the same letter, I imagine 100's of us did. By the look of the envelope and the writing I know that someone has a deal for me that shouldn't cost me more than about a month's salary, if it isn't just monthly payments.
I would love to know just how many people fall for this, it doesn't take many for the scam to pay off. - jasonreceived the same letter, no official letter head, no person's title and address, and hand written letter, so bad it smells scam.
- MichelleI received the same letter today. Cetnered UP Top US Airlines, same message. post marked Pheonix AZ. Letter singed by a Denise Cale, Vice President. Spokeo has a Denise Kale in AZ but not Cale.
Anyone with common sense should know this is scam.- Call type: Telemarketer
- MarieJust received the same letter on 6/4/12. Just as Neil pointed out above, it only takes a few suckers for this scam to pay off. Just searched for 'Denise Cale' (the infamous vice president) on dirtsearch.org, but also came up empty.
- Caller: US Airlines
- Call type: Telemarketer
- AmyGot the same letter - dated 5/26/12. Says US Airlines on top and HK-17160 at bottom. Good grief scammers.
- Jessereceived the same letter as the rest, marked for June 4th 2012. Same thing stating that it was from US AIRLINES. A complete scam. I wont even bother calling but will report the number maybe someone can track it down and turn them in.
