I was called on my cell phone from 913-312-5180, they identified themselves at Comenity Bank, and for me to please call 866-843-0197.  This (not american) person also identified herself with Comenity Bank, then asked for my phone number.  I told her I'd give her my name, but not my number. After getting off the phone to seek help from another person about 4 times, she insisted I give her my cell number or my social security number. I asked her how she felt about working for a scammer, and magically, the call abruptly ended.

They left a message. Thank you to Joan (above) for the great heads up.

I received a call from this number right after making an online payment to Comenity Bank.  The call was computer generated. I called back and the person answering was obviously not from the United States. Tell him I couldn't understand anything he was saying so he transferred me to someone who could better speak  English she asked for my name and phone number  I asked her  Why she was calling. She said she was calling from pier one and just wanted to answer my questions. I informed her I had no questions and hung up.

So then you decided to look up a number even though you already know who called you? Why?

They said they were from Comenity Bank re; My Pier One Account. I gave them my info thinking it was legit, but as I was talking to the man that didn't speak very good English I got worried and looked up the number for Comenity Bank, it is different to this number. Now I'm worried because they have my info

I received a call from this number. 866-843-0197 Comenity Bank. This is a scam dont give them any information!

I just got a call from them. They didnt know my name or my phone number. I hung up and looked here and thanks to you all, I never did give them any information. So thanks for reporting that it was indeed a scam.

“Message from Comenity Bank. Please make it a priority today to call back this number regarding a personal matter of great importance. “

Commenity Bank.....Told me to call back immediately. I have cards with them and they all have $0 balance so I knew that something was up and this number does not belong to them. SCAMMM!

The identical message was left on my landline this morning, identifying as from Commenity nank.
I had phone business twice with that bank yesterday. Has this bank been hacked?

I was just called on my cell from 614-729-6079. Left a message saying they're from Comenity Bank and for me to call 866-843-0197. SCAM!!!

Received a voice mail from an unknown number (didn’t even ring through on my cell) and told me to call this number immediately regarding a matter of “personal importance”. It’s not the number for any of my Comenity accounts, so I checked and pretty sure it’s a scam.

Left a message to call back about an important matter. I googled the number and saw all the scam alerts here. Thought it was probably a scam

Asked them to demonstrate in some way that they were Comenity Bank and got sales pitch instead.  Twice.  Had to hang up.
