Received a phone call on my cell phone from this number. No voice message was left.

I got a missed call from this number. I am in Vancouver, BC Canada. No message was left. I tried to call back and the call was answered after a few rings, and it was a recorded message of a female saying "I'm sorry, this number cannot be reached from your calling area, goodbye." The strange thing about this message is that the woman did not sound like my carrier's usual pre-recorded messages when you dial a number not in service, and after the message there was a loud "hang up" sound, like someone hung up a phone receiver after recording the message.

Have received several calls in NYC from this number but they never leave a message.  I called it back and received a recording that the number could not be reached from my calling area!  Interesting that they can call me but I can't call them, wherever they are!

I always miss the call from this number I normally let these type of numbers go to voicemail so I picked it up  and then asked for my real name so I said wrong number.
