Received a call from this number and they had my name.  Said they were calling on behalf of "major insurance" but would not define what that meant exactly.  Caller said he had some verification questions, but I never let him ask because he wouldn't answer MY questions about who he was, where he was calling from, what agency he worked for, whether or not he was from MY insurance company, etc.  All he would say is that he wanted to talk to me about migraine headache cream.

After going round and round I asked to speak with a supervisor who could answer my questions. He transferred me to someone who sounded much like the same person.  I explained what happened and that I would not be providing any information to them unless they could verify they were from my employer provided insurance plan and this was required information they needed to maintain my coverage. The "supervisor"  hung up on me.

Claimed to be from "Medicine at your Door", needed to verify some information for a named family member. Caller ID shows this same number previously claimed to be from Blue Cross Insurance, and needed to verify some information. Just another scammer out phishing for info.

They are just fishing for the one fish that will tell them anything. My suggestion... Block all numbers that will not let you return a call or will not give you the same info they are asking for from you about themselves. You would be surprised at how much a person can learn about you to steal your identity with only a few details from a phone call. The reason you can't call those numbers back are because they are automatic dialing systems, not actual people. When you answer the phone it puts your number on a call list. If you are in a position where you can disable voicemail as well as a possible preventative measure to possibly avoid callbacks. Good luck and don't get caught in the net!

Just received a call saying that they were from Verimas or something like that verifying my information since some things had changed through the VA where certain medicines I could receive free.  I told him I wouldn't verify anything until I checked this out and hadn't received letter concerning this and he continued saying that's what they do verify so I said no and he hung up.

Just received a call from this number.  Woman, very heavy accent.  Said she was calling on behalf of veterans insurance benefits and needed to verify my current status.  Her first question was for my date of birth.  I told her I know my status, I don't need her to verify anything and hung up.

Had a message on my phone from earlier today that took up my entire message recording  with hold music and a voice saying your call is very important to us from this number and just now got a call with the same thing.... I held and after a few minutes it said thank you and hung up.  I called back and surprisingly someone answered - I must have gotten in the cue and he told me he was calling to verify my tri-care insurance and that they had some medicines I could receive... etc...  Like other people stated above.  I told them to take me off their list, I don't have tri-care insurance and he stated several other insurance companies and so on.  I am reporting this - it is not only harassing, it is a scam and it is not legal for them to not disconnect if no one answers and take up your entire recording.  My next step is to look up how to report this legally and to whom.

receive a call from the number.  A gentleman with a strong accent, probably Indian but not absolutely sure, wanted to verify information about me concerning my TRICARE and VETERAN benefits...  I basically told him that I would never give any personal information about myself or family to someone who simply called me requesting this info.  I simply take no one who calls me out of the blue as a valid entity with whom I want to share my personal info with.

Be care out there.  Don't give up your info to just anyone who calls you.

I received a call from this number and agent informed me there were major changes in VA healthcare.  He also stated he was associated with TriCare.  He said we could receive free drugs.  One was a pain cream and some sort of multi vitamin.  I had already been alerted in regards to this scam and told the rep I was not interested and to not call again.  Besides, why would Tricare have a company call to give free drugs that are not required (in my case).  They have since called another 10 times and I have informed them they are harassing me and I will be notifying the police.  Three days have gone by and so far, I must be off the calling list, since the calls stopped.

I reported this to Tricare and I received a response that this scam is well known.  They send these so called pain relief creams, etc., then bill Tricare.  If you are a TriCare beneficiary please go online to their site regarding fraud and scams.  DO NOT give any personal information to these people.

I received the same call. Caller asked for my husband then asked if I suffered from pain. He identified himself as Peter from Tricare and had news about new VA benefits. I told him he sounded like a scammers and I was ending the call and don't call again. I also called Tricare to make them aware of the scam and was assured it is a scam.
