If you are not please do a little research on our company and you will find that we are not a scam.  We are accredited with the BBB with no complaints and a member of the Greater St Pete chamber of Commerce, we are also lic. bonded and insured.  Just because one of the marketing approaches we use is the telephone that does not make us a scam.

I have to agree with Katie and say this is most likely a scam. A guy called my house from this number and was extremely rude. He kept saying he was legit and then asked for money. My grandma told him she wasn't going to give money to just anyone and he yelled at her saying she was making excuses.

your BBB reports shows you were fined for unlicensed activity!!! why would you pay a 5000.00 fine if you were not scaming
also everybody knows the BBB is for PROFIT

they called my grandmother as well mike clifford and demanded money people please tell your elderly parents to hang up on these people

Government Actions
On April 15, 2008 the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services conducted an investigation (Case Number 0804-10809) and found the business to be employing and utilizing unlicensed sales people in violation of Florida State Telemarketing Laws. The company was ordered to pay a fine of $5,000.00 and properly register all sales reps.

I'm a license agent in Washington State and a member for the National Association of Realtors.  I can ASSURE you that there is not even a trace of legitimacy to their practices. DO NOT FALL FOR IT.  FILE A COMPLAINT

Saying that you're a realtor only lessens your statements in my book. Realtors are a scam unto themselves. You appear to be a realtor trying to protect the racket that the real-estate market has created (property only bought and sold through "licensed realtors", not through other channels, for exorbitant fees. Realtors all seem to refuse to work with non-realtors, and fear any business that may attack this system).

Equi-Max may or may not be legit - I'm still doing my homework. But the word of a realtor is about as worthless as they come.
