Talked to my child. Child asked if they were a telemarketer, they said "what is a telemarketer. Child explained. They said, "this is a kid, we will just come to your house."  Have filed complaint with attorney generals office.

Thought my answering service was a real person. Said "is Mr. or Mrs. .... there?" I called the number and it said it was a "non-working Wacovia Bank" number. We have no business with that bank.

got the same answer on phone messafe of a non working Wacovia Bank. How does a non working number call you? Turning into Attonery General of Texas... as I was a top attornery there till I took another position with the state.Glad the Attorney General is a good friend...

I have received two calls today from 866-852-1249. Both times I picked up the phone but did not say hello. After a period of silence the phone on the other end hung up. I tried to *69 the number and it cannot be reached by doing that. Here is what I am going to do. I am keeping a log in a notebook and on an extension phone. If this number continues to call, I will send my log to Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster.He has a good record of dealing with scammers in Missouri. I think that anytime a company calls your house repeatedly they are violating your right to privacy in your home by electronic methods....and especially when they do not identify themselves. Wachovia Bank was absorbed by Wells Fargo so it is probably Wells Fargo calling.
