If you call the number back 866-852-3468 it is a Collection Agency called I.C. SYSTEMS they collect debts for many companies.

This company call me 6 or 7 times a day,they try to collect something fron RCN,I'm a sick and elderly and my health going worst since this company make harrasment call.

I've been recieving calls from 866-852-3468, at least 3 times a day. I asked one of the Customer Service reps that was calling, to take my phone number off of his call list. It was at that time, that he refused and bold face lied to me, proclaiming that I had given him permission to call.
      Just because I said that Sam was not available , did not mean that Sam was not talking, quite frankly , it is not the solicitors business why Sam can not come to the phone, or if Sam is answering the phone, than it is not the solicitors business why he can't talk either.
     The bottom line is that, if I want my phone number off of their call list, there shouldn't be any question. I know what the call is in reference to, it was because I gave my name and number to a website that advertised for online businesses and making money from home. I am not interested in anymore of these prospective online opportunities. So , in fact, they are wasting their breath, and my time, as well as their own. They would be smart to move on to the next phone number. I am sure that the owner of the company doesn't want to pay  the telemarketers to waste any time. They live in a world of statistics, the more time that they waste with me, brings their average way down. So, we are really talking about idiots here.
     Please make these idiots stop calling. (I am not refering to all telemarketers, dont let a few idiots scorn the reputation of the whole group of them.) Like I said they are wasting their time as well as mine, and they are wasting their bosses' money.

I received 3 missed calls for four days straight without a voice mail from this service.  After Googling the number, I was alarmed that it would be a collection agency (I.C. Systems).  

I called back right away because I do not want any outstanding bills to negatively affect my credit (however I could not think of anything that I didn't pay and wasn't receiving any notices by mail).  

As it was, they called my number and asked if I was "Brittni"?  Nope - this was my roommate from over 2 years ago....I asked them to take me off the list because I was not the one with any debt/legal issue.  I am afraid they will continue to call when they cannot find her.  Also, I did not feel comfortable giving them her phone number.

SO ANNOYING that they would call 3 times a day and leave no voicemail - and they didn't even have the correct person!

Do not answer this call.  The person on the other end does not pay any attention to your answer.  If you do not agree to accept his offer to pay in full he marks you as refusal to pay & will attack your credit.  There is no reasoning with him, the fact we made a partial payment just 2 weeks ago did not make a difference.

I may be wrong about this, but I was under the understanding that if a creditor refuses to take partial payment, they loose the right to collect on the debt.  If you could prove that they refused partial payment, it might be worth pursuing.

It's because these companies are in fact imposters. They steal the info from Ligament Cable Comp and then proceed to duplicate the company using a different name and using the basic same wiring. The problem is that the legit company is at risk of going out of business. This has been happening for years, like Bell for instance. At times they are forced to try and merge or partner up with another company. We are being infiltrated by people that are not from this country. Wake up people! Verizon is a trusted business and shows the latest movies no double billing, and everyone is going to RCN or Comcast knowing that they are willing to give you a different name and all they need is an address to get your true identity. Therefore giving them the right to so-called attack your credit.
