I have received two phone calls about two months ago about my student loan, and the options to pay back loan. I have never applied for a student loan in my life. Today I received a phone call from Julie 1-408-963-0897, and said I recently spoke to John, and to call back her office at 1-866-853-4340 to discuss reducing payments, or forgiveness of the student loan. This sounds like a scam to me. I have never called them back.

I also received multiple phone calls about my student loan, the most recent having the same script as the person before me. I never got a call from John the “supervisor”. I do have a student loan but I already know it’s ineligible for forgiveness as it’s directly with the government.
