Scam.  Investment company claiming to represent Hawaiian electric.  Have called every day, for over a week.  I finally answered, and told them not to call bak.

I have been ignoring calls from this number. Now I figure out what this is about from the above message. It is likely to be on behalf of Hawaiian Electric to urge you to vote for the merger.

These people are very persistent.  They call at least once everyday.

Someone called me today from a blocked number and said it had to do with Hawaiian Electric Industries.

Personally, I have it callblocked as we have signed permission for our financial firm to vote our shares as they see fit.

If you have shares of Hawaiian Electric, you should realize that it is your own money they are spending to solicit your votes on this merger.  It goes right into expenses and comes out of the potential profits of the company.   Either get the merger approved or voted down.

It is not a scam. It is a company hired by Hawaiian Electric  to call shareholders regarding and upcoming vote. you must be a shareholder of Hawaiian electric or they mistakingly have your number.

Looks like the credit card scammers may be using this phone number by spoofing it.

I too received a number of calls from this number claiming to be HEI.  So I called HEI and they said that these guys are calling shareholders for an upcoming vote.  I have since ignored calls from this number.

If it is not a scam, why don't they leave a message to identify themselves?  We do not answer calls whose ids are "Not Provided."
