Got a phone call from this number.  No message was left

same here

Got a call from a local # from a guy who stated he had a package to deliver to me asking me what time I would be home. So I asked him who was it from and he gave me this number to call and a reference number. Didn't call the number back.

I'm getting the same thing & when I call the local number back that the "Delivery Guy" called from, it's not a working number. Have you had any other contact?

Same thing happened to me today, I tried to call it back and went to an answering machine.  Anything else happen from there?

Same message as James. This is a bull [***] scam. I called the number they left me and the company (so called) does not even have a name. Mr David Gibbions ,please stop by when you get a chance I also have something for you.

I received a call from 786 837 5161 asking to call 866 853 8581 or they be at my house on Thursday between 3 and 5 PM to sign legal documents...???

He Called said his name was David Gibbions and that he had legal documents for me to sign on Wed between 5 and 7. He also said to make sure I had ID. He said he wouldn't  be home so to call 866-853-8581 but He called from 217-718-3831.
Not sure what kind of scam this is but it sure is a scam. I have no legal anything going on right now.

Had the same thing happen to my husband today.  Said he had legal documents for is to sign and that they would delete between 3-5 p.m. same guy. Gave the number 866-853-8581. He called that number with the reference number.  Spoke to a woman who then gave him another number to call.  855-366-8584...rediculous! Thank you for those who posted. It was very helpful.

Same issue as above. Same name as above too! Asked me to be at home Monday morning to sign legal documents, needed my ID etc. I wonder if people actually fall for this?? Of course they are not going to show up with 'legal documents'.

I received a call from the same David, individual about legal papers to be deliver and signed.
A word of advice dont reply to those secret squirell calls.

I just received the same call as everyone above and I know it's a scam because they tried it last year, using a different caller name and company name. When I called the number, they said I defaulted on a payday loan in 2012 (absolutely not true) and if I didn't pay immediately they would send someone to my house or workplace to serve a court summons the next day. I called bull**** and hung up. Nobody ever showed up.

Just got the calle too he's coming to my house Thursday  with papers for me I hope he comes I be waiting here with something  too

I got a call from this individual yesterday on my cell and at my office. Also got one this morning on my cell. I don't know what his deal is but I'm not calling anyone back that leaves a message like he did  it's extremely vague and odd. If anyone has issues with me they need to send it in writing. I'm glad I saw all of these posts about this I was getting a little scared by the calls.

Short answer ---REAL process servers do NOT call before arriving.  This is an attempt to scare you!

Got a call from a local number with this number as return call number talking about a legal court document, called back and was told it was an old Fingerhut account and wanted thousands of dollars. Told them to come out with paperwork, the whole call was odd and unprofessional sounding.
