I received the same call from fake AT&T man..

I got an actual person "calling from ATT wireless" stating that because i am a long time customer they were giving me a $99.00 rebate on my account and that nothing would change.  She had a sweet convincing voice however i asked her if she could tell me how many lines I had and she said let me look a few strokes on the key board and she hung up.  I always try to play them right back.  So i guess i got her this time.

Said I was getting a $99 rebate from AT&T on my next bill, and that I needed to provide my PIN or last four digits of SSN to verify my identity.  Let's see... they called me, but they don't know who I am?  Nope.

Said they were AT& T . I don’t have AT& T. I messed with him for awhile to waste his time. Wanted my SSN. Scary thing is when you call the number back they have and actual real sounding AT& T recording. This is so scary and I don’t know how to report them. This is not a real AT& T call

Caller from India, said she was with AT&T and was offering a $99 rebate on my bill. Scam.

Caller represented self as agent of ATT stating that due to customer loyalty they would credit my account with $99 but they needed my account PIN.  I laughed and hung up.  With PIN they can steal your account and access all info backed up on cloud and port your number to a new phone and rack up huge bills.  Be vigilant.

8/1/19 Thurs. Call came in on Land Line - Party did not leave a message, other than "hello" 3 times.  SCAM call. @ 11:26 a.m.  Caller ID showed caller to be Toll Free Call.

Received a call from a lady in India saying she was from ATT and needed to fix my computer. She asked me to get in front of it. I pretended to get in front of it and searched the number when saw these complaints, so I hung up.

8/3/19 Saturday @ 2:40 p.m.  Caller ID on Land Line showed caller to be Toll Free Call.  Didn't answer - party just said "Hi" and hung up.  Sounded like he was calling from a "boilerroom."

8-6-19 Tues., @ 11:44 a.m.  SCAM Toll Free Call - no message left - recording just said goodbye.

8-7-19  Wed. @ 1:12 p.m.  Call came in on Land Line as a Toll Free Call - we did not answer - recorded message said "goodbye" - very strongly suspect a SCAM call.
