866-862-2441

Caller ID identified it only as a toll free number.  They did not leave a message on the answering machine.

When the answering machine answered the call, the caller hung up.

Did not answer, but called them back and they are a funding raiser organization for what they say is a cause that you are active in.

Had received calls in past from 866-862-2441 but let them ring until they hung up. Received call Saturday at 10:15 AM - I picked up, waited one second, then I hung up. Received another call at 11:00 AM, I picked up, waited one second, and I hung up. Received a call at 11:15 AM, I picked up waited 15 seconds, and I hung up. Received a call at 11:25 AM, I held phone to my ear and listened, no voice until after 5 seconds a man asked to speak to (my full name), I said nothing but continued to listen; it sounded like the caller was trying to hang up, but he couldn't because I had not hung up; I heard more clicking like he was still trying to hang up. However, I am still on the same phone call when I heard the ringing tone that I normally hear after dialing someone's number only I did not dial it, the caller did something that enabled him to dial someone else while I was still on the phone, at which point I immediately hung up.

Multiple calls which I didn't answer.  Finally Googled the number and arrived here.  Wish I could help more.

God. I've received numerous 866 calls and each one leads to the same voicemail you guys talk about.
Everytime the number calls, I pick up and it hangs up immediately. I've called 4 times and asked politely to have them stop calling me. It still hasn't stopped so tonite I called many many times and cursed at them, yes, I did. But I've had it. This is ridiculous. I've got MULTIPLE calls within the past 2-3 weeks and so I filed a claim with the FCC or whatever? I have had ENOUGH.

Same as above-haven't tried the cursing yet.  I've also gotten 2 very inappropriate text messages from the same number.

We've gotten a dozen or so calls over the last couple weeks.  I finally got around to calling them back and leaving the voice mail saying I don't want them to call me.  I also made clear my position that I will NEVER give to any nonprofit that calls my home to solicit donations.

This is a non-profit, telefunding support number, i.e., solicitor.

They have called at least once per day, at different times, for the past three weeks.  The fact that we don't answer does not appear to be discouraging.

These guys are really annoying. They call at least twice a day and have been doing this for months. They call my home phone and say "hello" when my answering machine picks up and then hang up.  I have no idea how to stop it.

I've received calls from this number day and night.  It just happened this afternoon but it seems when i answer they just hang up.  Perhaps it's because I wait to see who is calling before I pick up, and that triggers my answering machine.  I think I'll just ignore that number.  I may just call the phone company and ask them to block that number

Same as other 1-866 numbers. Calls and hangs up when the call is answered by the answering machine.

This call appears on our CID at least daily. The caller hangs up after listening to our answering machine's message.

Numerous calls.... I never wait beyond 2-3 seconds, just hang up.  Night and day.  Pox on them.

these people called me at least 6 times in the last 2 days.I called back and got a machine saying that they are a non-profit organization.

They call, I ignore the call, they don't leave a message.

Have called twice in the last two days. first time, no message. Second time, I got a message, but it was a mistake- the guy was talking to someone else and didn't realize he hadn't hung up the phone. He was talking about how he had to "squeeze a lady for fifty bucks...horrible."
