- JacksonCalled stating they had legal papers for me to sign, rather threatening, and also ridiculously asinine.
- Call type: Debt collector
- JaniceCalled stating they would come to my job to get my signature and if they did I would need my Manager or HR with me in order to sign the documents (makes no sense).
- BelindaI got the same message as above
- JenniferI received this call and hung up on him and then they left a rather threatening VM saying I wasn't taking them serious and they were going to come to my job and get my supervisor and HR involved and said I won't like that and to consider this my warning.
- StacySame as above, call from unknown number, a man left a message stating that he had "sealed legal documents" that I needed to sign for and would stop by my place of employment this afternoon, or my residence if they couldn't reach me at my place of employment. And that I needed to call back "the firm" at 866-864-4686 if I wasn't going to be available today.
The first clue was "the firm" had no name. Secondly, I haven't had a place of employment for 8+ years now. I always google numbers I don't know and am so thankful for those that operate these sites and those that report who is calling. - AlexThreatening message left stating that I had to sign legal documents. The woman said she would be at my place of work between noon and three (I'm retired) and those rattled of my home address from eight years ago saying she would go there next. When I called they were unable to provide any details about the debt other than it was an HSBC debt and they did recite the last four of my SSN to me (which is terrifying). When pressed for details I was transferred to a 'supervisor' who told me I should call HSBC and talk to them but that they would just transfer me right back to him. I did call HSBC and they had no record of any account I had ever had with them. Called Ryan back and shared this info. He said he would email me the paperwork he has (which he never did). I encourage anyone who gets a call this number to report their encounter with the FCC
- Caller: 'The Firm'
- 8668644686Received a similar phone call as all the others.
Said they would be stopping by my place of employment today, that I needed to sign legal documents.
Stated that HR needed to be present.- Caller: The Firm
- TheresaPretty much the same message as every other comment on here.
- Call type: Debt collector
- 123456789Had the same call as people above. When asked for their details and credentials "Ryan Miller" of "the Firm" stated that I was becoming irate with him (which I was very calm) just asked for more of their company information. I refused to give my information until they satisfied my questions. At this point I knew it wasn't legit. He stated swearing at me and said he would see me at my court date. Little did he know I know the Sheriff very well and called him right away. Sheriff stated it is a new scam going around.
- MattReceived 4 phone calls from an unknown caller approximately 10 seconds apart, and on the last phone call "Bill Maxxer" left a voice mail stating the same script as described as above. I tried calling 866-864-4686 and was transferred around at least 4-5 times and they eventually disconnected the call. I've called the FCC and the Mo. Attorney Generals office, but they'll probably just as effective as the No Call List.
- Caller: The Firm
- C.I.| 1 replySame message as all of you. I don't know how anyone would have my work address but any of you who have an actual employer, did they show up? Did anyone show up at your house? It seems they're trying to get you to call in because of this "threat" to show up at your work or house.
- Caller: "the firm"
- MC| 1 replyI also received same message as above. Stating they would show up at my work or home. Very threatening.

- Matt replies to C.I.They're full of crap. I actually talked to the one who identified himself as "Bill Maxxer" and he threatened me with a warrant for my arrest and he would visit my job/home for me to sign legal documents. He never would tell me what it was for and throwing out the term "legal action". When I told him I was a retired police officer and haven't worked for about the last 3 years, but he was welcome to go to the Sheriff's office or come by my house anytime to try and serve a warrant, he hung up on me. Weird.
