Calls several times during day and won't leave message.  When I picked up the first time, a recorded voice came on.  I hung up. Now they are repeatedly calling.

I just got a call from this company it is the "Visa Fraud Department"  they wanted me to call back to follow up on charges that have recently hit my card.  I'm researching to make sure it's not a scam though.

I have received three calls from them today, also claiming to be Visa Fraud Department. Oddly, it's about my wife's card, but they're calling me at my work number. I can't think of any way that a legitimate caller would connect this information, but I'm very worried about how a fraudster could have this.

The recording wants me to enter various information, starting with zip code and last 4 digits of SSN. I didn't. The third time I used the options to say the card holder is not here and can't come to the phone. So far, no call back.

An update. I called them back, and they told me how to verify their identity - call my bank and provide their phone number. They told me that they will be verified by the bank.

I haven't tried, and haven't given them any info. I dealt with any possible fraud problems through my bank directly.

I suspect these guys are legit, but certainly wouldn't swear to it.

When I call them back an outgoing message says, "This is a non-working number for WestGate Resorts.  Please contact us at our website, westgateresorts.com"  

Reporting them to do not call.

Just got a call from this number and verified on my credit union's website that this is Falcon Fraud. a Verified by Visa company.  You can verify here:

So this is a legit company calling to verify Visa charges.

Appears to be a product by the FICO company..

The call identified itself as the credit card fraud alert department from my credit union.  It is an automated system that wants your zip code, then to verify it is you they are calling.  Next it informed me there was suspicious activity on my cc ending in xxxx and said if that isn't correct to type in the correct last four digits.  I didn't, but I did go to my credit union to see what was going on.  There is no problem with my card or accounts, and the number they had was a card we had suspicious activity on two years ago and the credit union put a block on.  It appears they have my old card number and are phishing for my current card number.  DON'T GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFO TO THIS CALL, NOT EVEN YOUR ZIP CODE OR NAME!!!

I got a phone call from 8668649678 and a recording said, "wanted to verify recent transactions on a balh blah blah credit card. I hung up. They have called twice today once at 8:30 am and once at 11 am June 14, 2012.

i also received a call from this number and called it back.  it's legit.  they wanted to verify a transaction i made with my visa card.

I bought a game online the night before on my credit card and received a call this morning that went to voicemail. When I called the number back an automated system prompted me to verify the transaction.

Yes. Visa scam alert. My card was used across the country by some [***].  The fraud number is posted on my credit unions website.

The phone number  866-864-9678 is Visa Fraud phone number I verified with my bank first this was their number before calling. They didn't ask me for my card number at all. Other ID info they bank set up when the account was new.

I received 2 calls from them today. Gave me a case number regarding possible fraud on my Unitis Visa card. I was confused as I hadn't noticed anything odd on my account. Called the number, computer said that the number I was calling from (which is the number they used to call me) was not found, entered the case number, again no record associated with that case number or my phone number. It had stated to enter my Visa number. Ain't gonna happen.

It's for Unitus Community Credit Union fraud protection services.  Legit.

Got call from this number.  Did not answer and they left no message. Searched the internet tubes.  Visa fraud protection?  I don't have one visa card.  Very easy for scammers to spoof any phone number.  Visa has told customers they will never ask to verify information  over the phone on a card as they already have it.

called me multiple times, same experience as other callers, they want information and I e-mailed my financial institution to let them know. Seems VERY suspicious to me.
