This is a group of people or unidentified company who use your fake local phone number to call you to get your permission to enroll your medical insurance or Medicare and charge you for a fee.  They even sent out letter with United Healthcare name and logo to ask for your response.  United  Healthcare will only send you letter with specific information and detail but scammer won't.  If you see the number is 866-865xxxx or website is not United Healthcare official website, you should be alarmed and block it from further contact.  It used United Healthcare name and logo for a profit.  It is labeled as scammer but telemarketer.

I had no idea how medicade worked when I first got it. Most people don't.  These people started contacting me incessantly,  I made the mistake of talking to Marvin. He sounded so knowledgeable  and reassuring. He said he was sending papers in the mail for me to sign. They came and I could smell a rat, so to speak. Something was off. Then I did a little research, I am so thankful I did not give him any info. They are fraudsters using The United Healthcare logo and misrepresent themselves. Do not give them the time of day!!

My naive 78 year old mother saw United Health on caller ID and proceeded to have a conversation with a woman.  She gave this stranger her DOB and I come to find out that the phone call was being recorded.  My mother asked for information to be mailed to her and the representative said they could not mail her anything.  I cannot believe that my mother would give personal data to a company that she believes she has a plan with. This is not United Healthcare because they would already have her DOB on file.  I can see them calling her again to pump her for more personal info.  I instructed her not to answer the phone and let all calls go to voicemail.  I am pretty sure she will ignore my advice.

Claimed to be from United Health Care left 2 phone # 866-8653851 x 2423, 800 950 9355 as alternative so I could call and verify. I hung up after that. . Came in from 602 283 3940. Name given:  Sneydi. I can save you money.

Received  call from 218-260-2740. "This is United Health Care.  Do you have some time to discuss saving you money?" etc. The caller had my full name and asked for my birthdate. I told her no, I don't give that to anyone who just calls, asked for a number to call her back, "Lindsey" gave me the 866 number. BTW, the only way to get the "give back benefit" is to qualify for regular Medicaid. Unless you're living on under $1400 per month and have no more than $200 and no more than one vehicle in the bank, you won't be eligible. (The exact amounts of assets vary by state.)

I got a call from Stephanie whose nos is 218-206-8221 that appears on my cp. claiming she is from United Health Care ARRP Medicare Advantage and would like to offer social govenrment and referral program that will help me
saying they can get the cost of medicare removed from the soc sec check. If I will be interested to enroll, there will be screening process.  When I asked how will I know if it is legit. She gave me phone no. 866-865-3851 and she is in ext. 2346 to verify.  And now upon reading others comments, no need to verify. There are so many scammer out there. We must just be careful as they are really targeting senior citizens.

Hispanic female named Shaniqua ID'ed herself as United Healthcare. Left msg instructing me to call her. Nope!

Got a call from Caroline sigaroa (united healthcare)medicare  Serv. Program. 8668653851 ext 2346. I think I blew it.  Gave info. Called my ins. Am calling my ins. AARP united healthcare. Wish me luck . I'll let u know what info. I'll get frm them.  I'll never give personal info ever. Ui

I just received a call from 754-301-6301.  I made the mistake of saying "yes" that it was okay to record the call.  The person said that he was from United Healthcare and told me to call 866-865-3851, ext. 38251.  He knew my name, but asked for my birthdate and I refused to give it to him.  I believe this call was from a scammer.

I recieved broshure from united health care from Atlanta, Georgia P.O. box 52068 with phone # 866-865-3851 the P.O. box belongs to some person named Pryor like a collection agency. Brochure claimed they could get money put back in my part b plan so I guess they would want my info. Going to call health human services to verify

I would be interested in knowing how you found out that PO Box belongs to an individual and even more interested in finding out why you think that individual is a collection agency?

Either you had too much of something or you have difficulty reading words, since a quick search shows that "PO Box" comes up as a Lawyer/Law Firm clear as day and never shows anything that has the word 'collection' in the results.
