Keeps calling me for a debt I do not have

Got a second call from these folks about a relative who DIED 10 years ago... LOL!!! BLOCKED!!

Claim to be ‘Covington Management Group’, a mediation company. Couldn’t find anything online

Seems likely this is a sleezy and phony debt collection type of call. A site search does not turn up anything under that name so I am guessing this is just a new name and number for an existing scammer.
A call is not legal notice of a debt. Ignore the call and do not call back. Calling back will only get you harassed and threatened to pay a bill you do not owe.

Texts from 866-871-0028 advising ive overdue accts and theyve many great options available to resolve.
Legitimate places call you directly before low life shady people like these contact you.

They jus texted me & said I had an overdue bill too 🤣🤣🤣

From 2014 til 2016

Received a text from this number stating there was an overdue balance on an account in a name that has not been used in 10 years.

I received a text from 855-996-0345 stating I have an outstanding loan and to call the 866 #. They state I took out a loan in 2016 under an old name.  She would not say the amount that was due, told me a lot of personal information.  So I requested the information to be sent to me and told I would be served.  I hung up and googled the company and number and NOTHING!  I have not taken out a loan that I did not pay.  So I called the number back and asked for the rep I spoke with from Covenant and was placed on hold then the call disconnected.  Called again and go figure the call continues to drops.  SPAM!!!

Got a text message stating to call 866-871-0028 in regards to loan i supposedly took out in 2014, they had old address of mine and I asked who was the company, they couldn’t give me name of who I took loan out with, and said they can settle it for $405 today.. I said I need more Information at which time they said i will be served.. [***] as I said pretty funny as nothing comes up on my credit report to me taking any loan out or owing money. He hung up

I got the same text today too. [***] scammers. Just reply STOP and it will stop the text messages.

Got a text telling me to call a 866 # regarding an old bill

Said I have an overdue account under a name I haven't used in years. SCAM!!

I got the same message and now I’m going to text them back with a photo of that guy on the bed with a big dick.

I got a text and I couldn’t find them anywhere online.  They wanted my personal information. Hung up, blocked and reported them.

named Covington Management,  they had my previous address and just like everyone else said, they said they would settle for $368 instead of $500 for a "pay day" loan. I gave my card info and then realized I could find them online so I reported my debit card stolen and transferred money out. They said they have my signature on file.. they would not send me any information due to the amount of time.. BLOCK THEM! They spoke English too, smh! Last time it was Indians

Keep calling about a loan that they say I took out for a pay day type of loan. I have never had a payday loan. Asked for more info and was told I would be served and to tell it to the judge and was then hung up on.
