Beware of  a "business"calling themselves LEGAL ADVOCATES ( how generic can you get!) with toll free call back  # 866-873-0097, which can be used across the country.  CLAIMING TO BE a State of Oregon Licensed organization, debt relief agency.  They will have some free access tid-bit of financial info about you and then hit and miss with misleading info and follow up hype, composed to frighten you..  Claims to cost you nothing to reduce your debt by 60%!  They are NOT Listed anywhere and certainly not in Portland OR.  No proof of Licensing in State of OR.   This is a BOGAS BUSINESS.  If you get one of these "professional" looking letters, toss it, and better yet report it!   If you call their # you will get an answering service.  They are out to rip off the anxious debtor who doesn't look closely. Always check solicited services with BBB.
