Asking for social insurance

Asking for information from Retraite Quebec. I dropped the call and called back to Revenue Quebec they said that this was not a legit call.

a lady named retaite Québec to ask for personal informations, l questioned.her, and she nervoused

Called me telling me calling from retraite quebec and gave me my info and said wanted to check my address.
I said I will call retraite quebec myself

Ask my birthday and social assurance number. I asked her to send me a letter instead

I never answer to this call but I receive a letter 2 weeks later with same number and pretending to be retraite Quebec with logo and all... I call directly real retraite quebec with real number and they confirm it was a scam and false number !

I was called with this number by a lady who said she is from Retraite quebec. She asked for my SIN which I refused to give her. Told her to send the forms back

Ooh wow now that is some new levels of scamming.

I just a call as well , saying it was régie ds rentes, but did not ask me any  info. Just to tell me that someone tried to change the bank info on my direct deposit . I went in my clic secur account and the email that was there was not mine. CAREFUL THIS IS A SCAM , DONT GIVE ANY INFO !

When this number called me RETRAITE QUEBEC appeared on the caller id so I thought it's real..They know exactly my information and the caller we're asking me about some of my additional personal  Informations . I thought it was not a scam so I googled the number and it leads me here to this page.And so I did verified the number to RETRAITE QUEBEC.and yes it was a scam.

Omg they called me with all my information and my spouses information. So i googled and saw the first link saying it is their number then i gave them our SIN. I don’t know what to do right now. I am a newcomer so i don’t really know all about these scamming

I don't see what being a "newcomer", whatever that means, has anything to do with not knowing about scams?  Now, when you gave them this information it was because you answered the phone or it was because you called them back?  If the former you will have to find out what to do about protecting yourself.  If it was the latter then you have nothing to worry about.
