Looking for relative. Requested phone#. Not provided. Only that would pass on msg. No details given other than co. name. Looked co up online. Debt collection.

I got a call from an unknown number this morning.  When I said hello, a man said something and paused. I said what? hello? and then he started speaking again.  He was very very friendly, to the point that I became suspicious.  I offered to take a message and he said his name was George and would only leave a phone number and ID number. (866) 873-3979 ID 30347910.

On my cell phone, I received a call from this phone# three times in the last day. Pick up and no one's there, after 10 seconds, the call disconnects. Not going to answer any more.

Same here. If they leave a message, it is only to say to call back without any details. THey have called every day for a week.

okay, im tired of getting all these bs collection agency calls . Im not even 18 and i get at least 3 differant agencies calling me about someone named by some spanish name. they call and call and call and call. these phone spammmers need to die. really. they need to die in a fire, and their whole buisness.

They called my cousin. Said they were a collection agency looking for me. Screw them.

Got a call from this number (and I have no outstanding debts).  They referenced #31171441.  I called back and just put on hold
Sounded professional...I'm confused.  I'm also listed on the "Do NOT CALL" registry

Unfortunately, debt collectors are exempt from the Do Not Call laws.  

That aside, please know that NCO is one of the largest debt collection companies and is a notorious violator of debt collection and credit reporting laws. Received a call from this company this evening asking for my mother in law.  Told the man that she has Alzheimer's and he wanted me to fax over the power of attny to him with family s.s. # for the family.  YA RIGHT He must think I just fell on head. Contacted my mother in laws accountant to tell her about the call, and she tells me that m.o.l is not behind on any of her payments.

I get this number calling me like every day or every other day for like the past month. I never pick up but the first few times they called me they have left messages saying to call back and when I call back it just says it's some debt collection agency. Now when they call they don't even leave a message. I don't have any debt that I know of so I don't know why they are clling me but it is getting really annoying.

Gotten a weird call from them saying "this is a debt collection agency.  The law requires us to notify you." and gave me a reference code to call them back.  I called them and there was no response, no normal "this is "insert company name" to "action" press #"  like the usual corporations.  I was suspicious, so I looked them up.  Looks like a scam!

Keep getting calls from this number 3 times a day...they leave message only

No pay them. They stop calling when you pay what you owe. Don't throw your cousin under the bus because you are a DEADBEAT.

You really think he still checks this site out? Come on, its a four year old post!!

They called looking for my wife, wouldn't leave a message for her. They asked for a different phone number. When I said this was it, they just wanted to call back and talk to her. They wouldn't tell me anything. Very strange.

As of this date they are still doing it. Don't get stressed. Just ignore the [***]. They are not listed in the white or yellow pages on line.

866-873-3979 has called me twice. The first time was a real person that said please hold for my manager. Then the manager asked me to verify my birthdate and last 4 of my social. I said No, because I don't know who you are or what you want. She said she couldn't tell me anything without verification, but I would be receiving a letter in the mail and if I had any questions I could call them back. I have not received anything in the mail. Now the call is automated and asks me to hold while they look up my account. Hung up when I found this site. I have no outstanding debts that I am aware of. But it sounds like this company calls you for somebody else's debt quite regularly! It is not my business to know someone else's debts or financial situation, so they shouldn't call me.

The operator asked for my social so she can talk to me about a personal matter. I said no and she said ok and hung up. Now i'm waiting for the pestering I read about in the messages on your site.

They invent "debts". Claim payday loans, or any excuse. Die with them, [***].
