I had a guy call and same the exact same thing

I  just received the exact same call. I wonder what the point of it is?

A recording saying the same thing already posted and calling my family too ... Who is this. ?

This number called my brother and said the same script

I've received this call 2 days in a row.  The automated name it used is my maiden name.  I've been married for 4 years.  They also called my family members. I don't know who this is,  bur it needs to stop.

Someone call asking if I was some person they were looking for

They are a debt collecting scam and will try to say you owe money on a bill or bills that either a loan u have or a company you did business in the past trying to confuse people. They want you to pay it all at once and they say that you are being sued if you dont pay up. These people have to be shut down and stoped they will bully you into thinking you must pay. They get information about you and others from third partys and you can tell that they are scams because they will use a company that you have or had but i asked over and over for how much and for what company and they will mix a few up together hoping you fall for it. And when i explained to him rhat i had paid that off they would just keep coming up with more lies. And also it was the wrong amount on a certin loan so i know they are full of [***] because they have your information and will name your county court house. Plus i had a bankruptcy and it has been discharged and i put all of my bills and loans compantys and its been 7 years and he was trying to bring up companys that were discharged so they are frauds. And then he tried to make up a reason why i still owed something.

same thing happened to me and then they called my fiancé and left the same message. It's a scam.

I got variations of this same message and started a dispute claim with my bank b/c I actually was dumb enough to believe them 🙄
