- Rhonda B.| 4 repliesI received a call from a lady now name Molly Diaz ext: 3715. I spoke with her several times concerning my student loans being in default she told me that the IRS would be taking my tax return this year and that if I paid $200 a month she would help me get back on track. I decided to contact the Department of Education and the agent I spoke with told me that the information I received from Molly wasn't accurate. People please be careful and do not give these people your debit/credit card Information like I did. Molly is a scammer and when I called her and told her what the agent said she ts me to have a nice day and hung up the phone.

- ShellI finally asked this call after weeks of them calling me. The guy told me I'd signed up for a student loan forgiveness program. When I said that I did NOT do that and could he please remove me from his list, he said 'oh right. Like I LIKE calling people for no reason" and then hung up on me. Nice.

- D Dunne| 1 replyOur student loans were paid over 25 years ago, in full, and do no appear on our credit reports, yet these idiots call everyday wanting to "help" its a SCAM. If you have adverse loans you can rehabilitate them yourself, for FREE.

- Amanda| 1 replyCalled requiring payments, I made multiple payments to this company thinking that my loan had been transferred when it hadn't and then no payments were applied to my actual student loan and I went delinquent. Luckily my actual servicer had options available and helped me get back on track and didn't charge me any penalties. Always contact your federal servicer before you speak with these people.

- AmyI missed a call and was left a message with a guy whistling. To my knowledge this is the first time they have called me, but based on others' entries, I will make sure to report the number and NOT answer if they call again.

- ShellyI received a call yesterday from this number saying I recently signed up for Student Loan forgiveness. I said did I now? I know I didn't. He asked how much I owed and my name. I "signed up" for this but u don't have the amount nor my name. Really? I asked for his number tO call back because I was at work about to go into a mtg. He said he was going to transfer me to somebody or the other. I said give me ur number, he said he'll call back and hung up. I worked in fraud for my company, they got the wrong chic. They can keep their forgiveness and I'll keep my money and my credit. This is a scam don't do it.

- Jen HoepnerThey are calling themselves Student Loan Solutions. First Choice Credit is what shows up on the caller ID. They charge $600 to “enroll” you in a "Loan Forgiveness" program which is really just one of the Income Driven Repayment Plans (with loan forgiveness after 20 years worth of payments) that you get for FREE with your real loan servicer. They make it seem like it is so hard to enroll in these plans and that people need help - like with filing taxes - but it is really quite easy to do with the FREE help of the agency (loan servicer) that actually has your loans or you can enroll at https://studentloans.gov/myDirectLoan/index.action on your own - also for FREE!
