Recievable Management Services

This company calls me twice a day, every day!  The last call was on 09/08/11 at 8:53PM. They state that it is Patricia calling and they want to speak to a Terry or Kerry Smith, I'm not sure which one because my answering machine is old and it is difficult to tell if it is Terry or Kerry. I have perfect credit and do not owe anyone, so I feel I should have the right to NOT be bothered by these calls. My machine gets full, and my important calls can not get through because of these calls.   I have to wake up at 4 AM for work, so I go to bed early and these calls disturb my rest.  Do you know how I can stop these calls?  Isn't this against the law?

Also received a call from this number stating it was from  Receivable Management Services

Call says "This is Linda Harding w/receivable management services I'm calling for street football world usa, ny state insurance on disability i do need to call back as soon as possible regarding payment of the $600.20 balance my callback # is 866-881-3282 i'm @ ext 8006 etc.

Came home from work, getting ready for bed get this phone call with a voicemail saying I owe 600 bucks, I spoke with Linda, and she says I/O, the money for some sort of insurance, I had no idea what it was and why she was harassing me. She claims she will remove my number. Here is the voicemail.   This is Linda Hardy here with receivable management services I'm calling regarding the outstanding balance _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ football world USA _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ insurance fund disability that has an open balance of $600.20 I need someone to call me back on it my number is 866-881-3282 I'm at extension 8006 and my reference number is 520009946278 thank you…”
I felt much better when she said she would remove my number and I thanked her and went to sleep.

Linda Harding called from NY, stating that our business owes 68,000+$ and fees…for some type of audit. I immediately thought scam, since we haven’t been in NY for a year.
