I got a call today on my cell but wasn't able to answer at the time.  No message left.  Called back and they answered "Thank you for calling Chase - How may I help you?".  I don't have an account with Chase so they must have called a wrong number. It's probably either sales agents trying to get you to add some kind of coverage or protection to your account or credit card or their collection department.  Hope this helps.

Calls several times a day - called it back someone didn't answer the first time but did the second and answers Card Services and wanted the account number. It's defiantly a credit card company, most likely chase.  If your late on your credit cards and have a chase card it's them. I think this is a newer number of theres.

This number calls me sometimes 5 times a day.  They're looking for somebody who does not live here and must have had this number before I did.  I tell them that everytime I answer the phone and they tell me they'll remove the number from their computer but they still call back.  I'm filing a complaint with the FTC about this, and I suggest if you keep getting calls from them and have no Chase account to do the same.

This has been going off and on for the last 4 months now.

I got a call from this caller and they were asking for my Mom's name. I asked her what she was calling for and the caller said something about my Mom's credit Card payment was over due or something. It was hard to understand what she was saying. So after telling her that my Mom does not have chase or anything to do with that. She asked me who i was. After that question i hung up on her. It's a credit card company for sure. A Fraud.

Got two mysterious calls today and when I called back there is first a message stating the call may be monitored or recorded and then it goes to a message stating that their offices are closed.  Sounds like it must be Chase from what I've read here.

    Tired of these people
This number has been calling for several days on my cell phone. Today I answered and the caller on the other asked for someone that I've never heard of. I told them that this person was not at this number at that it's a cell phone and to stop calling. She said she was with "card services" and stated the number that she was dialing. The phone number she stated wasn't even close. When I told her that this wasn't the number she just repeated to me, she insisted that I giver her my phone number. I won't repeat here what I said to her at that time. I told her that I had the number she was calling from and I was taking all this info down and if anyone from her "fake company" called me again I would get an attorney.
Because of the reports here that these calls keep going to cell phones, and that this person couldn't tell me what number they were calling and insisted on getting my number, I do not believe these people are on the "up and up".  Beware, do not give them any info.

I had the same problem with the phone above. What I did with all of our accounts was I went in and took out all of our numbers house phone, cell phone and with in two days they stop calling us. The only one that calls is Chase and our accounts are closed with them. The banks have a new deal in which they have 45 days to contact you to make a new deal about the new interest rates that will be going up. If you do not agree with those terms they will close your account out, and then comes the telemarketing calls.

I have made arrangements with Chase to pay them a certain amount of money at a certain time each month to pay off my debt. They have put me on this program for one year. They still call me (today being Saturday at 8:01 A.M.)
to tell me I'm past due. I tell them I am just going to let their calls go into my voice mail and that I cannot pay them any more money each month but they call me repeatedly anyway. I think somewhere in the "fine print" of the agreement I made with them that this is legal. Is this undue and/or illegal harassment?

Hello, fellow sufferers! I have the same problem. I have been "lucky" though: calls come in about 11 a.m. not 8 in the morning. I was wondering if there is a legal way to stop them. My cell number is not listed anywere so using it is not particularly lawful. It rases another question. How did they obtain it? Did my service provider give it away? I have Verizon. And you?
    Thanks!

My parents have received several calls, sometimes asking for their card number.  They do not have a Chase card - I think this is a scam.

    Stop bugging me
After receiving several phone calls a day for the past several days and even after telling the "customer service representative" to stop calling, I contacted Chase and spoke to someone in their Fraud Department.  I was told that my phone number was linked to someone else's account and that it would be corrected immediately.  The fraud guy said I should not receive any more calls..we'll see.

Calls from 1-866-881-6222. Credit Card collectors. I told to not call ever again. They keep calling ten times a day even on weekends. They are so stupid, sometimes my answering machine kicks in and they are so dumb asking the answering machine "Is this xxx? Hello? Hello?"..I mean, they are really [***].

I got a call from them on Wednesday, by Saturday my identity was stolen.

They've been reported to several gov't agencies who are working the case.

If they call, do not answer if you can avoid it. They only need to know that you are alive and someone resides either at your home or using your phone, that is their lead.
