l rec'd a post card from Carnival with this phone number stating I had been selected to receive a Complimentary 7 day Cruise for 2. But wait that's not all, if i call within 48 hrs i also will receive 2 round trip flights from Any Major Airport. Don't think there is an airport called "Any Major Airport". Just another scam to get you to their "meeting" and spend money.

I also just received one of these post cards today.  Sounds like a definite scam.  The "feel" of the card was that Carnival didn't have anything to do with it.  There was a disclaimer on it saying "This promotion is for married couples and cohabiting couples living at the same address only."  It also said "This is not a timeshare or land sale offer."

Sounds very fishy.  I wonder if Carnival Corporation & PLC knows the Carnival logo and likeness of one of their ships is being used for this purpose.  There was no fine print indicating the mailing was from Carnival Cruise Lines.

I too just received the Same card.  In the trash can its going!

So tired of recieving trash mail and actually reading it. Shame on Carnival for not fighting this stuff

On the left side, below the port information, it says, "This promotion is not sponsored by or affiliated with Carnival Cruise Lines...".  I'm going to call anyway and find out what the deal is.  I'll repost more information later.

It is a marketing group that promotes all of the Carnival brand cruise lines- Princess, Cunard, Norwegian... There is nothing scam like about the event. Top notch professionals and my husband and I got a 10 day western Caribbean cruise that just required us to pay our taxes. You negative nancy people should actually go to the event instead of complaining about the unknown! I'm glad we went and can write a positive note. No one takes the time to praise and be thankful anymore.
