    Received a call from this number on my cell phone and when I answered no one was there. I am trying to find out who this is.

    Just Facts
    The number belongs to planet financial.  A 'claimed' mortgage servicing company.  They have been trying to talk to me for over 6 weeks.  I finally blocked their number. They claim that my mortgage was bought out by them, and that they are my new mortgage servicer.  Funny thing is,... my house is paid off.

    The caller type which is not allowed in the drop down box below should be "mortgage" I suppose.

    I suggest that you contact your current mortgage company to inquire if they sold your loan to these folks before taking them seriously.  It might be a scam.
