Got a call that they were going to process legal action through my county office and to call with a file number. Person who answered said he was working with Barnes and associates to made a settlement for a credit card from 2010. Told them to send me information. I got an email with a card I never owned and the settlement offer they wanted me to sign for $2000 looked fake. I called back a day later and told them I had a discharged chapter 7 and that I looked up info and saw all the scams they had pulled. Guy said he was just the middle man. Told him to call my lawyer for the discharge paper.

Received a voice mail stating that my card was declined at American Airlines and to call them for verification.  The message never identified what company they were or what card I supposedly used.  Scam.

Received a voicemail mail stating that my credit union card was charged for $409.00 at American Airlines. They said they denied the charge, but to give them a call at that number. Never said what card it was.

I received a voicemail on 1/26/24 stating that they were calling from the loss prevention center of my bank. They claimed a fraudulent charge was made, at American airlines in the amount of $409, and that they had blocked the card. And to call 1-866-884-0453 for verification. I contacted my bank and they said it was a scam.
